“Good for photos but other vantage points better”
Reviewed November 5, 2013

Visited with 19 year old son using Stockholm Card. Worth the trip out to Globen. We were unlucky that it was a slightly misty day but still pleased we made the effort as it was like no other experience we have had.

“Worth a look.”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

This attraction gives you a fantastic view over Stockholm. Maybe a bit tricky if you have a fear of heights but nothing too drastic. You feel very safe in the air conditioned and completely locked glass ball.

If you visit Stockholm you must visit Globen!

“not bad & nothing special”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

sky view it is one of the sightseeing in Stockholm, the location Globentorget 2, Stockholm 121 77, Sweden it not far from globe arena & if you came by metro it in globe metro station.

Sky View is one of the most remarkable attractions in Sweden, and an experience far above the ordinary. A gondola made of glass takes you up along the outside of the Ericsson Globe the largest spherical building in the world. We promise you will have a spectacular view .

Opening hours
MONDAY - Friday 09:30-19:00
SATURDAY - SUNDAY 09:30-17:00
The last Sky View ride of the day always departs 10 minutes prior to closing time.

the ticket:

Adults (also wheelchairs) Swedish Krona 145
Children Swedish Krona 100 (4-12 yrs)
Pensioners Swedish Krona 100 (+ 65 yrs)
Your own gondola (16 p max.) Swedish Krona 1.950, pensioners 1.500 (per tour)
Champagne (small/large bottle) Swedish Krona 399/825 (to enjoy during the tour)

The concept is interesting, but it the experience itself is nothing special when they let you into a spherical room and show you a short movie about the Globe Arena and Sky View, which is actually amazing & interesting.

if you panic from hight do not ride the sphere.

it nice experience but i wish if it more than 1o minutes to enjoy more in the Stockholm view.

the price i think expensive 145 Krona for 10 minutes too much i thing 50 Krona fair.

“Not Bad”

I think if you buy the Stockholm card you should try this. Situated about 10 minutes distance if you use subway. Honestly, there isn’t much about this one but a great view across the city once you reach the top.

“Nothing special”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

The concept is interesting, but it the experience itself is nothing special.

First they let you into a spherical room and show you a short movie about the Globe Arena and SkyView, which is actually pretty interesting.

Then you move on to the SkyView "lift" which goes all the way to the top of the Globe. That's where the disappointment comes (for me, at least), because the view is pretty average (you can't really see the old town or any other attractions). There are definitely better places for getting a panoramical view of the city.
