“Small but good!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

we stayed at this hotel for three nights over the easter break. it's pretty close to the nearest underground station and easy to find. it's not located in the busiest part of the city and you will find yourself travelling to gamla stan or other parts of the city if you want to experience the nightlife and restaurants etc.

there is a sports bar directly across the road that shows all the football etc and serves really good food.

the hotel itself is fine, staff are very helpful and the place is clean. the rooms however are tiny. i had read previous reviews before we booked this but didn't actually think that the room would be so small....well it was! it may be worth requesting a large room (if there are any) when you're booking but other than that i couldn't fault this hotel.

A very basic hotel with tiny rooms. No closed wardrobe, just open space for hanging clothes. No view from the room - you either look into the enclosed courtyard or onto a not very intereseting street. Narrow corridors barely wide enough for two persons to pass. Staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was simple but decent. Very clean. Computer with internet available in the lobby. Overall a good hotel for a single business traveller but average for a tourist couple staying three days as we found it over-priced for the facilities provided.

I use to stay there while in Stockholm as the hotel has modern and clean rooms in the city centre with a decent breakfast buffet at a very fair price. I would rather recommend this hotel to young people. Very friendly staff and front desk open around the clock. A tip: have a drink there before going to the great italian restaurant next door: best pasta I have ever had in my life! Enjoy your stay!

I stayed here for around two weeks around New Year's Eve 2012 and enjoyed my time. Located near Sankt Eriksplan, there are a lot of great restaurants around and the train station is quite close. The walk into the city through Kungsholmen is also very nice.

It can get loud - The walls are thin. Free breakfast is decent. Bar service is good and the staff are slightly nicer than those at Älvsjö. Would stay again.

Very small rooms, but definately okay - especially compared to the price.

Arrived late, but reception managed a meal and a huge beer, which I enjoyed in the lounge area. Thanks!!!

Air condition / air flow was noisy during the night, and my room was really cold.

So really enjoyed a hot shower in the morning, in the very nice and big shower - niiice!

Overall okay for the price, actually quite okay.

I have used this hotel on more than 50 occasions and don't have much to complain about. It's a clean and quite new (or newly renovated) hotel with really friendly reception service and an average breakfast menu. They also serve some salads and sandwiches for dinner.

Normal rooms are standard size and quite nice. The window-less rooms are small like ferry cabins and don't offer any coat hangers nor work desks - doesn't work for me.

There's a metro station nearby and many buses pass very close to the hotel as well. The hotel is located on Kungsholmen and there are very nice walking/running paths along the shore and a gym (Friskis & Svettis) nearby. Perfect for me on business travel!

Room Tip: The rooms without windows are very small, normal rooms are standard size.

The rooms are incredibly small, so do not come with a suitcase but only a daypack will fit: Left and right of bed exactly 20 cm space to wall. Also quite noise-sensitive with cardboard walls. Public facilities are nice, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is very good at an all you can eat buffet, with continental standard (rolls, ham, cheese, marmelade, boiled egg, oatmeals, juices). The location itself is convenient to the old town and central station but quiet, with neighborhood restaurants and shopping malls nearby (3 min walk), underground station and a city bike rental stand also 3 min away.
