“Excellent food”
Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

We went and asked the waiter to select several dishes, the menu is very advanced and difficult to select dishes that could complement one another. He did this with great succes. Excellent service !
Food was excellent. "wow" taste with every dish, which is what one expects with a Michelin restaurant.
Not our first visit and certainly not our last. Together with Lux this is our fav restaurant in Stockholm.

“Simply the best!”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

In this building, a former theatre, you have perhaps the best Japanese restaurant in Stockholm, Råkultur, on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find perhaps the most innovative gourmet restaurant in Stockholm. Since the surroundings are quite posh, you have a certain clientele here, but the service is very attentive to everybody as it seems.
There is only one menu, so you have to choose this, because eating here is a sort of Japanese ceremony. The touch is in fact quite Far East and it is a success, both the flavours and the presentation! The wines accompanying the dishes are carefully choosen and there is a good choice of superb coffees too,

“Don't waste your time”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

Although the quirky surroundings were interesting, the food wasn't. They failed in their basic function of a restaurant, that is to feed their guests. 250 kronor for a piece of sirloin which was no bigger than 4 mouthfuls is ridiculous. Not to mention the "pizza salad" accompaniment. Most courses had some gimick or other, the majority of which involved blowtorching at the table, it did nothing for the flavour and to be honest a faceful of burnt moss doesn't build an appetite. Leave the moss to the reindeer. To me it seems this place is trying to be the (excellent) Gastrologik, and failing miserably. For the same price as you would pay for their recommended 3 courses you can order a full menu of 9 dishes at Gastrologik, and have amazing service, ambience and culinary art that comes with it. To be short, very dissapointed in Esperanto.

“Just what to expect from a 1 Michelin Star restaurant”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

I wanted to visit this restaurant since ever, but it never came to pass. But this weekend, I took my chances and I was not disappointed.
Eating out on a certain gastronomic level doesn't come cheap in Scandinavia and certainly not in Stockholm, but I think it was well worth it.
You can only choose between two menu's, there's no à la carte, but they accommodate for vegetarians. The food is creative in the in the meantime well known "pure ingredients and back to the basics"-style which sometimes leads to surprising combinations, but they don't overdo it (unlike their colleagues of Frantzén-Lindeberg).
The interior of the restaurant is stylish en subtle. The service is impeccable, yet friendly and not too distant. You immediately feel at ease.
I also praise the clarity of the website, where you can find the menu options, the concept and... the prices, so you know what you're getting yourself into.
Some points of improvement, though: for an eight-course dinner combined with 3 appetizers, 2 hours is maybe a bit too fast. It wasn't too much food, but the combination of flavours made it hard for my stomach to follow.
And in my opinion, they could be a little more generous when pouring the wine.
But all in all a great experience and worth the money if you're willing to spend it.
