Despite the fact that the restaurant was far from full, our party of six adults and two children was "welcomed" to our outdoor table with the admonition that "since there are so many of you, you'd better all order the same thing". No, not lost in translation, we were speaking Swedish and understood both what was said and how it was said. In the end the majority of us did choose the same main course - quenelles of pike-perch (adequate, with a sauce that was better than the actual quenelles). We had to wait too long for the main course to be served. Those who were brave enough to order desert or coffee were faced with another interminable delay. At least the surroundings were pleasant and we had plenty of time for conversation. But the words of welcome grated throughout the meal and it was not worth making the journey to this rather isolated part of Djurgården for this experience. There are much better open air restaurants around.
