“It's a trap!”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

It's the only thing I regret about my travel in Stockholm.

Outside it seem to be a typical swedish restaurant, but inside I realized that was managed by a chinese family.

I'm not racist, but I think that It's better that swedish people cook swedish food! It was an horrible dinner!

P.S.
If you want to spend better your money and you don't have a great budget, I suggest you to try one of the many "irish" pub in Stockholm, you can eat definitely better than in this restaurant!

We spent 466 SEK/person!

“Most enjoyable meal”
Reviewed April 15, 2012

We were initially attracted down the side street off Stora Nygatan on the Gamla Stan by the small reindeer displayed on the Restaurant C C’s red sign. Although short, the menu offered a variety of game and fish options – either a la carte or 2 set courses for fixed price. Our soup (a reindeer broth) was delicious and filled with meat. The wild boar main that followed was tender and tasty with the right portion on our plate to leave just enough room for a light lingonberry mousse for dessert. Our set price three courses for two people plus one bottle of Italian red wine came to the equivalent of £100 plus tax. Don’t expect fine dining or premium wines here: just simple, well cooked food served with a smile rather than with finesse. We can recommend this genuine, rustic Swedish restaurant for casual dining at a reasonable price.

“Awesome deer steaks!”
Reviewed December 31, 2011

We came across this small restaurant accidentally when we were looking for a place to dine in the old town. It's in a tiny narrow street. The place is somewhat 300 years old and the interior was kept the same for a long time. The menu only consists of several basic dishes and a couple of desserts, but every single piece is worth paying for. Apart from reindeer and wild boar steaks, we tried mushroom soup and deer soup, everything tasted absolutely amazing. And it was very quiet and peaceful, we were the only guests there!

“Rubbish, avoid this place!”
Reviewed November 21, 2011

You know it is bad when you are waiting for your food and you can hear the microwave humming and dinging when the food is ready.
The vegatables were undercooked, the meat was over cooked. The sauce was just horrible.

Don't ever go here it is just horrible and a waste of money.

“Near enough the perfect dish!! Flavours to die for!!”
Reviewed August 27, 2011

After wandering for some time at the hundreds of places to eat in Old Town. We decided to check out CC for it's local fayre.

We weren't disappointed. I can say that the Reindeer I had (which is the same dish as the photo someone else has posted) was among the greatest meals I've ever had if not th greatest. Why? Because all the ingredients were fresh and done to absolutely texture and flavour perfection. With no overelaboration or everything on the plate complimented the dish exquisitely, right down to the sprig of fresh thyme which balanced the medium rare melty reindeer so well.

The Mariestad beer to accompany was a full flavoured not too bitter golden brown ale that added a perfect touch to the meal.

Downsides can't really blame this one restaurant for the high prices (that's just Sweden) £25 for a single main dish but the reward for the price was well worth it.
