“A Mekka for design fans”

Form is a Design Centre on Lilla Torg in central Malmö. There are exhibitions on three floors in an old refurbished warehouse, at least one exhibit shows the up and coming trends within the young art and design scene in Sweden. No entrance fee..
The café on the first floor is a meeting point and a welcoming venue to read the national dailies as well as current issues of national and international art, design, gardening, current affairs and literary magazines. You can even play chess here.
The second floor hosts a shop where you'll find several samples of modern Swedish design and small items to buy as gifts.
This is a relaxing haven when wanting to combine art and design and a coffee.

“Tiny and nice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

The Center is arranged on 2 floors, is not very large but interesting to have a glance at the latest trend in Swedish design. You can also buy clothes, glasses, books, postcards, toys for kids. It gives a feeling of the good Swedish style

“Beautiful in structure and beautiful in contents”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

The Form Design Center acts both as an exhibition space and selling place for arts and crafts. The building is beautiful and the arts and crafts we saw were equally beautiful.

“Oldest design center in Sweden”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

Form is a great design museum/shop/gallery. I'm not sure it can be quite so clearly classified and there seemed to be a focus on up and coming/new or young designers and artists. On the ground floor, there were some exhibits. On the 2nd floor there was a cafe with a few tables as well as some interesting design school student exhibits. The 3rd floor is the boutique with a good selection of glassware, blankets, bags, etc. all very design-y...stuff from marimekko, muuto, etc. the shop is great for browsing. Entrance to the center is free and it's near the little square. I'd say it's definitely worth a visit if you're in malmo and like browsing design oriented objects/furniture.

“Great space, good for quick visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012

As long as you're in Malmo and walking through the main parts of town, this is a worthwhile stop. You can see the 3 floors in 15 minutes at no cost, so there's no loss in taking a look!

The space itself is a beautiful blend of old and new. Inside there are interesting design exhibitions, for instance modern furniture from local designers. The second floor features a cafe with a chic sitting/reading area, and the third floor has a store with an excellent variety of design-oriented goods.
