I travel a lot on business and this is one of the better hotels I stay at, I go there reguarly and they always remember and my last visit. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and very helpful whenever I have required support.

The rooms are good, they are fully equipped with what you need, if you stay in the business rooms you will be pleasantly surprised by the experience.

It is definitely worth the money and was fautless in every way. The restaurant is very good, however there are lots of different restuarants in the town centre which is not far away at all. You can easily walk from the train station to the hotel in 5 minutes.

There is a gym however I haven't used in whilst I have been there.

Ever stayed in a hotel where you've just been pleased with everything, feeling happily surprised at what you got for your money. My high rating for this hotel is based on experience coupled with price. After staying in much more pricier hotel than this one, that was the feeling I got, wondering why it had taken me so long to find it. I stayed on two separate occasions for 3 and 2 nights respectively and was consistently happy with everything. Nothing overwhelming, nothing exceptionally fancy - just nice all the way through, with everything you need. Spacy nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms. Clean. Breakfast amazing. Service outstanding. All smiles, and the attitude 'everything is possible since you are our guest'. To be really picky I would say the gym needed some freshening up in terms of the wall to wall carpeting there. That's about it. Either this was a lucky pick of a Radisson Blue hotel, or these people really know the hotel business and customer service. The hotel is very central, yet in a quiet neighbourhood. It has the feeling on sitting around the corner of everything else. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a safe quality bet for decent money and do not have special demands on a chic, modern or fashionable finnish.

Room Tip: Convenient priceworthy garage below the hotel, from which you can comfortably walk right up to the r...

Stayed here one night for business in August. It was my second time at this hotel and it surely didn't let me down. I have actually thought deep and hard about my rating, because I felt I couldn't give it full pot. It is not a St.Regis or a Four Seasons, so it should only be 4 of 5.

But the thing is at there is nothing to deduct for. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern looking. The bed was great, and all the amenities were there. Including a well filled private bar.

The bar/restaurant downstairs is fabulous. The have some great local beers to sample, and a delicious shrimp sandwich (räksmörgås). The sitting areas are varied and comfy, and you don't feel like sitting in a overly busy area. With people rushing around, big tourist groups or anything like that.

Breakfast area is simple, fairly Americanized (like a Fairmont in the US) and with a nice selection. Staff is friendly all around.

SO I can't do anything but recommend this with all my heart. Regardless if you are holidaying or at work. Solo or couple.

Room Tip: Try the local Pale Ale in the bar down stairs. Great stuff.

I went twice to this wonderful hotel on my way to and from Norway. The second time was not planned but because of the wonderful first stay we went back again. They had a wonderful summer deal like many Scandinavian hotels in summer.
The location is excellent when you travel by train. But also when you are by car. Very close to Copenhagen but much cheaper to stay. Railway station is on walking distance.
Also the city center, shops and nice restaurants are around the corner. We had dinner on the square Lille Torget which was a wonderful experience. What a nice and pretty square.
Everything in this hotel is great.Rooms large and clean and up to date. Excellent beds.
Wonderful, healthy breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh organic products.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice bar area with big screen. We watched a part of the Olympics there.
The only thing is that the gym needs a little update.
The best hotel I have been to during this trip!

Room Tip: Both times we had a great room.

The Radisson Blu in Malmo is a nicely designed, centrally located hotel. It has the usual Radisson Scandinavian flair, and the staff are, as with most of Sweden extremely proficient in English. It is easy walking distance to many different restaurants and fun to make bit of a tour of the old town. Its not huge, but certainly worth a look.

Hotel food was very nice, and I give them props for getting me some ice cream even though it was not on the menu.

My only possible caveat, nothing comes cheap in Sweden, If you are traveling there for the first time get ready for a bit of sticker shock esp. if you enjoy a drink. That is NO reflection on the hotel, just a bit of a sidebar.

Enjoy!

The hotel is located just in the right spot, fairly close to any main attraction of the city. The city hall and also the train station are no farther than a few steps (even though in opposite directions). The rooms are clean, spectacularly large and modernly outfitted. The breakfast is abundant and tasteful and the personnel more than helpful.
