This hotel provided very pleaseant and helpful staff. Bedrooms comfortable, quiet and good; shower room bright/ immaculate etc with extras. Breakfast excellent spread with fruit and fresh orange juicer. Supper was disappointing with rather dried lasagne. Outside gardens a boon in good weather, as well landscaped and restful to sit in. Hotel difficult to find unless better instructions on website. When using public transport - from station, buy reasonably priced bus ticket from station ticket office (collect your number for your queue position) and go acroos road to No 3 bus - stop near hotel door. Simple although hotel about 1 1/2 miles from lovely town centre! Frequent service too. If time, attractive walk into town but quite a climb back up.

Room Tip: all rooms seemed good as quiet area.

Rooms and breakfast are nice and good.
BUT the service:
We called in the morning to ask for check-in time and if we would check-in early. They told us check-in is at 2pm, earlier is not possible. Since we were early in town and had an appointment at 3pm, we tried if our rooms are available already. The made us feeling very stupid just for asking. Actually, they wanted us to wait till 3pm to get into the rooms (we told them in the phone already we had an appoint at this time).
I understand if things are not possible and formally they were right, because they told us before (even if I can't belief there wasn't a single room in my category, which was cleaned at 1:10pm). But I expect from a hotels attended that he cares for my needs (at least he should pretend to do so!).

We stayed here 3 nights my husband and son and i. I must say we had a really pleasant stay.

I will start with the negatives:
The rooms are a bit dated, could use som renovation. The shower head almost fell down and they could change the curtains. Also the hotel lies a bit far from the city centre, but if you like a good walk for 15-20 min this shouldnt be a problem. Bus nr 3 stops right outside the hotel and takes you to the centre in about 5 minutes.

The positives: The staff were wonderful. Always greeted us with a smile and nothing was a problem. As we stayed with our son we didnt want to pay extra for an extra bed so we tried to sleep 2 adults and one 4 year old in the twinbeds that we had and it worked out perfectly. As i had read in previous comments that the beds are on the small side i was a bit worried at first. But the beds were really comfortable and wide. The room had evereything we needed. Waterboiler, refrigerator, a lots of little bottles of schampoo, soaps, even toothbrushes.

The breakfast was a really positive experience it had evereything we wanted. Different kinds of breads, spreads, juice, fruit, something sweet for after, they even had waffles. In the price it also included dinner and this was a big plus for us. Even though it wasnt the fanciest dinner it was a good meal that you didnt have to pay for, coffee and cookie inkluded. The garden outside made the atmosphere really cosy and we could sit and talk as our son ran outside in the garden. The staff lit candles and had soft music on, i say it agan: it was really cosy and familiar.

I would definitly recommend this hotel to others. If it isnt a problem to walk for a while to get to this hotel you would deffinitly enjoy it here. On the positive side is that the hotel lies in an housing area, so it was really calm and quiet at night and we got a good nights sleep even though are room fased the street.

Inkluded in the price are that you can rent bicycles for free. Really good!!

I stayed three nights and really enjoyed the hotel. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The price included breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed breakfast more than dinner. Dinner was barely enjoyable - 3 nights with exactly the same salad and food was mediocre. Transit (#3 bus is very convenient). Loved the town and the staff here are absolutely wonderful. Very good value.

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Djingis Khan during a vacation in Sweden. The facilities were great, the room very clean and spacious. Staff at the Hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The "lite buffet' in the evening was a full meal. I felt that this was a great value as a stop and in view of the prices in the Scandinavian countries a fantastic buy.

Dont let the name throw you off. A decorating theme really. Nice room with leather furniture, heavy drapes to keep sun out, helpful staff, good food and the price was the surprise-very reasonable. We had had several different experiences in accomnmnodation on this trip so to walk in here and have something more luxurious and familiar to our north Americasn experience was perfect-felt spoilt. Laundry (just needed detergent) facilities were much appreciated. You need to book time ahead for this. Coffee and tea always avaulable. Snacks from 4 am to 7am if you have early start. Breakfast from 7-11. Hot and cold stuff for all tastes. Dinner early from 4-8 so often not there.. Parking free and right next door a real plus in Europe. After midnight bar across entrance to parking and front door locked but buzzer brings help.Newspapers available to see what happening in world if you feel the need.

Room was a good size, shower room likewise. Excellent selection of toiletries supplied, including toothbrush and comb and even slippers! The hotel offers a buffet style evening meal from 6-8pm which is excellent value as long as you don't mind the fixed choice menu (that's the quirky bit). A la carte is available from 8pm. Tea & coffee making available in rooms. Excellent selection of newspapers (one in English) and magazines, if you fancy brushing up your Swedish. It's in a quiet area, on a bus route, within walking distance of the city centre, near the university, and has free parking.
