We have just arrived back from staying in Bouquett cottage with our little girl aged 6. We had such a fun packed time in Alton Towers, plus the water park. Windy Arbour is an amazing place to stay and the cottage was absolutely beautiful. We loved every minute of it.

Both Dave & Gill are so nice and extremely helpful and would go out there way to help you. The surroundings are stunning, so tranquil and relaxing after all the excitement in the theme park. Will definitely return again.

Thanks again Gill

Very lovely & Friendly owners. Beautiful place, lovely atmosphere, great scenery and clean cottages. Been there twice & going again this summer with a whole troop!!. Easy access to all local amenities and attraction within few miles. Will highly recommend this place, specially families with children.

Stayed with my girlfriend for two nights as we were heading to Alton Towers Scarefest over the weekend of 22/23 October. The location is perfect to get to Alton Towers from, took around about 10 minutes (with a little traffic) each day to get to the front gates.

We stayed in Bouquet which was made up to a double bed as requested, everything was clean and tidy and thankfully the heating was on! (It was a pretty cold weekend) Everything about Bouquet was perfect and exactly what i expected (having stayed here several times in the past with my family in probably all of the different accommodations available).

The Farm isn't particularly hard to find, when I booked with them i got sent some instructions which were easy to follow although most satnavs will take you to the right area, but it would be worth keeping the instructions handy...

Would highly recommend for a stay!

What an absolute diamond of a place. We travelled from Wales to Windy Harbour in May for my 20th Birthday, which was a treat to Alton Towers.

In our group was my Sister (7), my Cousins (16,17) their boyfriends (18, 19), My Aunty and Uncle (38, 43) and my Father (40) - a bit of a mixed bag of ages but ALL of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the majority stayed in the Peacock Cottage with myself, Father and Sister in the "Library Room". What can I say! What a place as a whole, it's an amazing haven of a place, set away from the town for perfect tranquillity. Upon arriving we were instantly greeted by Gill, who we could all sense had a great passion and love for what she was doing, she was a truly lovely lady to talk to and made as feel as if we had walked into a home instantly, we felt as though we were family, not strangers. We were shown to our room and asked what time we'd like breakfast, and then left to it, there's a very informative book that Gill and Dave have spent a lot of time putting together and the quality in it is second to none. We knew we could find them at any time too, which was a great feeling. We retired outside to the gardens where we were invited to adopt a peaceful corner and have a drink, it was amazing. Gill was in the garden and we all chatted away brilliantly.

Gill takes great pride in the garden and was watering it on several occasions while we were there. She even told us that we were quite welcome to borrow a guitar and have a sing-along. The rest of the family stayed in the Peacock Cottage which was OUT OF THIS WORLD - simply beautiful, the website says it can sleep 4-6, but we all could have quite happily stayed there, there was a room with bunk beds then a room with a double bed, upstairs there were two double sofa beds and finally a little loft bedroom with another double - taking the tally to a comfortable 10 people. We were a short 3 miles from Alton Towers. The next morning breakfast was truly delicious, everything was grilled, there are many cereals to choose from, along with yogurts if you prefer, there was fresh fruit available too. Breakfast consisted of Sausage, 2 Bacon, Egg (Scrambled, Poached or Fried), Beans, Tomatoes, Mushrooms and an Oatcake, along with toast, a fresh pot of Tea and Fresh jugs of Orange Juice and Apple Juice brought to the table. A great breakfast that sets you up for the whole day and ALL grilled for those calorie concious amoung us.

We booked this cottage for 2 nights to spend the weekend at Alton Towers.
It is a small cottage with twin beds down stairs, mattresses upstairs on the mezzanine. I went there with my husband and 2 daughter. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a wet room.
It's a concerted barn with original beams. It's lovely.
We had stayed here many years ago with a larger group and will stay again. The owners are lovely too!
Great walks! Short drive to Alton Towers.
