This is the quietest town ever. We had a nice dinner here at la sosta. The restaurant was quiet with about 4 or 5 tables occupied but our host did a great job keeping the mood upbeat.

No menu, no winelist, no bill?? All part of the fun. Food is typical and nice but not outstanding. A hotel recommended this place as an alternative to belbo di bardon (another local place in San marzano oliveto) but its not! They are similar in that they are both have typical piemonte dishes but Belbo has more wow factor and excitement.

The value of dinner however is truly astonishing!

The food here is really special, prepared with love. No menu, you just get a multi-course feast. There are choices for the pasta, main and desert and if you had any problem with the others they would certainly find an alternative. Definitely book it can be full. Accepted its out-of-the-way but sat-nav gets you there and the restaurant is obvious when you arrive in town. I believe they take credit cards now. Given the quality and quantity I considered it a bargain at €35 including wine, water, all courses and an excellent expresso to finish. Highly recommended.

Excellent food accompanied with great wines. Luca, the sommelier, and his wife own one of the best restaurants in the Langhe area. All ingredients are fresh from the land. The antipasta's and the pasta's are outstanding. If still hungry you can continue with some beef or wild porc dishes. If you are in the right season (October-December) they prepare the food with white truffles. Outside this season eating black truffle is possible. Very good place to visit with young children as well. They get delicious pasta's and icecreams while you are dining and wining. The bill is very reasonable as well.

This difficult-to-find restaurant dished up the best food we had in 4 weeks holiday in Italy. Luca was extremely hospitable and knew about the food and wine which he was serving us. His dear wife working away in the kitchen certainly knows how to create beautiful food with lovely flavours. There was no written menu, but Luca asked what we like and if we had any allergies, then he catered to our every need. Perfecto! The 5 of us who ate there would definiely recommend this restaurant. there were 7 courses (including expensive truffles), with wine and I think the cost was E45 per person.

This is easily the best Piedmont dining experience I have had, and is thoroughly worth any detour if you are in the Langhe region. There is a set menu, a succession of delicious and, whilst predictable in terms of being familiar recipes and combinations from the region, are never the less anticipated with genuine pleasure. Different wines by the glass are available to match each dish. We were lucky enough on both occasions we've been to be offered fresh white truffle with our primo. There are choices for the dolce. Be aware that they do not accept credit cards.
