We are members at Benton Hall Golf Club - 4 miles away - but have played Forrester Park 5 or 6 times in the last year. The course itself is average and some holes feel as if they have been built in an adjoining field added on some time after the main course. I believe it used to be a 9-hole and then was extended (albeit a while ago) - hence that feel.
Certainly worth a go but - in my Opinion - not as good as Five Lakes or Benton Hall nearby. But probably more space here and margins for error which can be a good thing.
The old clubhouse has a nice feel to it and the food was very good when we were there - as were the choice of drinks.
A small sitting area outside is fun, as is the "spike bar".
Worth a visit and the value for money is good.
