“Better than the Cilffs of Moher!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2012

If you are visiting the Donegal area, Slieve League is not a place to miss. The cliffs are higher than the Cliffs of Moher. Make sure you drive past the gate as there is parking up further. One of the best attractions on our recent trip.

“A tough mountain climb but worth it....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2012

We climbed to the 'trig' point - challenging to us novice climbers but well worth it.

“Beautiful Wilderness”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2012

We parked at the lower car park and walked up to the viewing point. The scenic walk is steep at the beginning but easier after that. There is another carpark nearer to the viewing point, but if you fancy an invigorating walk, leave the car at the first car park. The cliffs are stunning and there are trails to the top if you fancy a walk on the wild side! These cliffs are more impressive than the Cliffs of Moher but with less visitors. If you're lucky to visit on a good day, bring a picnic and enjoy the beauty of Donegal.

“Spectacular!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2012

Absolutely a must do on your trip to Ireland! I am not sure where the groomed path and lookout with fencing and bathroom is located. I chose the pilgrim's path, right to the highest point! Wear good shoes and bring water, maybe a snack as well. Would not recommend taking little ones on this path. NO fences at all on this path.Peaceful, serene, breathtaking views the entire way!

“Gorgeous views”

A beautiful serene crescent beach. Breathtaking views of the cliffs - well worth the trek down to water.
