I would expect to pay twice the price for this delicious food in the city. True fine dining in a retro vibe. Love it

We have had dinner twice at The Estelle in three weeks & every dish has been outstanding. The stunning & original dishes have blown us away. The relaxed atmosphere is a plus with fabulous service & an impressive selection of wines. After our first visit with friends we could not wait to return & on our second visit we ate at the bar. In the past six weeks we have also had the nine-
course degustation menu at Loam & Ezard and The Estelle was by far and above the standout. The Estelle deserves all the accolades it is receiving at the moment.........it is superb!

This is a very modest outfit with a well-deserved reputation for stunning cuisine as a 5, 7 or 9 course degustation. We had the 5 course for $70, served with complimentary hors oeuvres, which was just enough for our weight conscious party - maybe not enough for bigger eaters. Subtle flavours and stunning combinations. Vegetarians well catered for. Modest but good quality wine list including a lot of overseas sourced wines. Exceptional friendly and welcoming staff. One question - why invest such expertise in such a confined space? Our party of three had a nice table for 6-8 but others tables were closely packed by a wall. Eating at the bar looked fun for a couple.

For the size of the helpings and the quality of the food the restaurant is vastly over priced. It has changed hands quite often and always the reviews are good in the newspaper but it does not deserve their rarings

It was fabulous - these guys are doing amazing things with food and every course was without fault. Absolutely loved it so much that even the pretentious wine nob would not stop me going again. Other staff great. From the crab mornay to the wagyu, it was all superb. Dessert of Albert’s chocolate garden and sour cream, pumpkin & salted caramel was just perfect. It is expensive but there are lots of restaurants charging way more than these guys for what you get so I actually think it is good value.
