Beautiful castle church, you most likely will see it if on a tour, otherwise follow the maps to try to locate it, very worth while to see.
My cousin and I stumbled upon this by accident but it was one of the highlights of our trip. There is an absolutely beautiful courtyard well worth a quiet stroll around.
I have traveled to Europe a decent amount and like to see the churches as the US doesn't have much that is as old. This is a nice one. The inside of the church is cool. It's worth the stop. It's pretty close to Hamlet's castle.
This beautiful church is the southern wing of Our Lady Monastery in Elsinore, which was founded by Erik of Pomerania and built by the Carmelites around 1430. It said to be the best preserved facility of its kind in Denmark and the finest example of a complete monastic complex surviving in Denmark, and one of the best in all of Scandinavia too. Give your time to walk around the area, look inside, sit down and relax and enjoy the room.
Worth a stop over, but be prepared to visit the place alone. Not a lot to see, but very quiet and restful. Unfortunately the second floor no longer seems open to tourist. The adjoining church is worth a visit as well.
