This is Riz Raz #2 - the other (non-vegetarian) place (Kompagnistræde 20) is reviewed elsewhere in this forum.

I've visited this place here for Saturday Brunch on a number of times, and been very well fed on each occasion. This one *IS* fully and completely vegetarian (the other one isn't). You'll find delicious raw and cooked vegetable salads, Pizza, cold Pasta salad, delicious Felafel, rice salads and of course vegetarian Lasagne, a variety of fruits and bread.

My partner isn't that keen on this place, because she is a confirmed carnivore - but I swing either way as far as food goes, and am always happy with, for instance, a plateful of delicious Lasagna and raw Broccoli salad. Don't think much of their Pizza, but that's not a big deal.

It's fairly spacious but probably gets quite busy in Summer, it seems to be family friendly (there's always been at least one family with kids eating happily during my visits) and the staff are efficient, friendly, smiling. And it's good value for money. I like it and I can heartily recommend this place, especially to vegetarians and indeed anyone else who doesn't particularly want greasy sausages and bacon with their brunch.

In expensive Copenhagen, this place is quite a refreshment. The food is freshly made and very tasteful and we all love it. There is a children room but I would not suggest it, since it is very cold and quiet uneventful.

I've never tried the menu at this place because I automatically steer towards the buffet table. It is the best buffet choice in copenhagen. To top it off, it is all vegetarian - which makes this the veg Mecca for people in copenhagen. It is evident in the crowd that it attracts - a lot of tourists come here...

Arrived in just a couple of minutes before 4pm and noticed upon a quick perusal of the menu that the buffet was 79kr before 4pm but 99kr afterwards, asked the lovely waitress was I too late to get the cheaper offer and she said not a problem.

I don't normally like buffets, but as a vegetarian, the food here was perfect for me. Everything seemed nice and fresh and there was a great range of items to choose from, lasagne, okra curry, falafel, pasta dishes, lots of salad options etc.

Staff were lovely and friendly, good beer selection too (Norrebro Brygghus) and great value.

Vegetarian food is thin on the ground in Copenhagen, but this restaurant offers an excellent option. It is also very well positioned if you are spending an afternoon shopping around the Stroget area, as it's only a short walk from the main shopping street.

Veggies get to choose from an EXTREMELY wide ranging and good quality vegetarian buffet. It's not all salad and pasta, either - there are hot options like falafel and curry too. And since you can go back for second helpings it is possible (if you are on a tight budget) to fill yourself up for the day and skip an expensive evening meal!

It works for mixed groups of vegetarians and meat eaters too, because you can also buy chicken strips etc if you wish.

The only downside is that the interior has a slightly run-down feel and could do with a general spruce-up (the toilets are grim...) But then, this is not meant to be a venue for a romantic date! It's a functional, value-for-money place to fill your belly with delicious veggie food. Approach it that way and you won't come away disappointed.
