This little cafe was around the corner from the apartment we stayed at, so we tried it out of convenience. Happy that we did! We had two meals and a couple of snacks here. The summer salad was perfect, and I'm not a salad person at all but it was a beautiful combination of flavors and textures. The snack plate was also delicious and completely in season. For dinner, I had the mussels and fries which were both incredible. Those fries are perfectly salty and perfectly cooked! Best. Ever. Nice beverage selection and cozy outdoor seating make this a great pick.

Their brunch may be what Cafe Alma is mostly known for, but we enjoyed dinner twice here - on two weekend nights. Service was leisurely but friendly and there is plenty of variety - enough that we had totally different food the two times we ate here. They also have daily specials. The place is homey, which also suits the food - I would describe it as what one imagines Danish home cooking would be if you were a good Danish cook! Between us, we sampled salads, a wonderful appetizer platter of meats and cheeses, their burger, and a chicken special with fresh braised vegetables and potatoes. We heard people oohing and aahing over desserts but both nights we were too full for dessert, The neighborhood Cafe Alma is in is perfectly safe, but off the beaten track somewhat (across the Langebro bridge and about a half a kilometer to the west and south), which probably explains why their prices are very reasonable. Well worth the walk for a great home-cooked meal!

It was quite a success to invite 7 people including 2 small kids to a early sunday brunch in Copenhagen - - - in the area close to Radisson hotel. The restaurant is very cosy with a number of small rooms, so it was not a problem if the kids were a bit noisy - - - and other guests in a full restaurant were no problem to us. The food was very high standard, most home made I guess, and easy to people with allergic diseases as well as vegetarians. Coffee and juice as libitum included - - and no maximum duration for the table. First visit, but will come back !

Cozy Cafe Alma is our favorite weekend brunch place. Its busy yet laid back, and coffee and juice is included in the kr. 155 price. Buffet style with all the usual suspects, plus home made pancakes and nice salads.

Enjoyed this nice Danish restaurant in a neighborhood near the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel. Warm hospitality accented by white candles though out made for a very enjoyable evening. I strongly recommend if you want to get away from the city center and be with the locals.
I have to thank my colleague who lives in Copenhagen for taking us...as I would not have known about it otherwise.
