“Small Italian place great food !”

Well hidden in a dull street. But go there any way you will have to make a reservation. Food depends on what was on the market on the day and what they felt like making in the kitchen. But do not worry they make excellent food and if you bring children they will find out something child friendly.

“Fantastic Italien food in unexpected environment”
Reviewed May 4, 2012

Had tried one time before to reserve a table - on a plain Tuesday night - with no luck, this time we had the table a 7.30 pm. Did read about it before on a Danish site that it should be divine food, so was really looking forward. The place hides beside a strange and anonymous facade, has got no menu, but 3 starters and 3 main courses on the boad - the ones that Enzo - the Italien chef - chose for you.
We selected a tapas kind of thing with lots of homemade sundried vegetables and garlic bread, small mozarella/tomato salad and so on - and a dish with prawns and chili. Very, very tasty both of them.
For main we had a chickendish with a well prepared sauce and a really good slice of veal - also in a nice and homemade sauce.
They don't serve sodas(!) and as we don't drink wine, we had to do with water - I think it would have been nice to have a bit more to chose from in that matter.
We didn't go for desert, but the wife (waiter) convinced os anyway that they had a really special Tiramisu - so I had one - and my friend had a Panna Cotta with strawberries. The tiramisu was really something, not flabby as they can be and tasty as well. The Panna Cotta was fine, but it's not my favorite.
The cappuccinos were very authentic with thick foam. We had them because "they do not make cafe latte in the evening" (for what reason?) and it came out as a fine alternative.
The Campo De Fiori is not a cheap place and hides behind a not overwhelmingly nice facade in the very outskirts of Copenhagen - so you have to go there by choice. But if you do - you'll have fine food. Buon appetito!
