Description: Fuego is an Argentine restaurant and cocktail bar bringing its own concept of Latin-American food and atmosphere into the Danish capital, located in the old city just behind the Royal Theatre. The main specialty is the Argentinean meat grilled, as it would be in its native land and a curate selection of Argentinean wines takes you into a deep experience. Fuego´s kitchen concept is the fusion of the meat with classical and innovative gourmet trends. In the Lounge you can choose to experience the Argentinean wines and tapas where you can try their homemade delicatessen and also their particular meat. From six o'clock Fuego's Lounge Bar offers trendy cocktails with a cosy and relaxed atmosphere by the open fireplace. On Fridays and Saturdays they host international Dj?s until 3:00 am.

We were four Finnish guys and liked this restaurant a lot. It´s fancy but not TOO fancy, you know, sort of a place which is both homy enough and chic enough so you feel out of ordinary but not stiff. I can´t recall the name of the plate since we were already a bit drunk when arriving here (it was A+ trip, no spouses) but I can tell for sure that our three medium minus stakes and one medium stake were all cooked to perfection. House wine was very good.

I think we totaled something liked 160€ which is not that expensive when you are abroad. Staff was very, very friendly and we had a lovely chat with the waiter after paying the bill about...well..pretty much everything.

El Fuego is placed very conveniently on the side of extremely pretty Nyhavn and very close to Christiania. So basically if you fancy a combination of high end canal strolls and ex-pen-sive but worth it beer in Nyhavn and not so expensive not-so beer in Christiania, head first to bars in Nyhavn canals, then to Fuego, and with full stomach head after that to Christiania. It´s a night to remember!

Ate as a group of 4 on a Saturday evening. We could only get a reservation for 9pm but when we arrived the restaurant was not very full.

The food was good with reasonable portions. We ordered the paradilla and fries - disappointed that the fries turned out to be potato wedges and that the waitress didn't tell us that the pradilla already came with potatoes.

2 of us had the wine tasting menu which was expensive but they did like the wine.

Service was good but the food was nothing special. Maybe this is one of the only Argentinian restaurants in Copenhagen but coming from London I feel I could get this type and quality of food easily (and cheaper).

I wouldn't eat here again.

The good thing about this restaurant is that the portions are big and the food is authentic. The empanadas were very good. The main course was just ok though. As mentioned, the portion is big, so you will leave the restaurant well fed. But among so many excellent restaurants in Copenhagen, I would not go back to Fuego. The other thing that bothered me was the charge for water. I am used to being served water and felt awkward about having to pay for that. The food is not bad, but it will not "wow" you.

The food was delicious and the whole dinner could come straight from a top restaurant in buenos aires.
Empanadas as a starter, bife de chorizo with chimichurri as a main and Créme Brûlée made with dulce de leche, with a nice Malbec wine along the dinner.
Fuego is an authentic Argentinian restaurant with great food and friendly service. However it doesn't come cheap - we paid 80€ per person in two and shared both a starter and a desert.

Fantastic food, ambience and decor. I loved every single moment - had the Parillada (?) mixed steak plate with chimichurri and vegetables, followed by creme brulee and white tea. All accompanied by a glass of Malbec. Magnifico.
