Description: Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. You can enjoy all the traditional Danish courses crafted with a blend of respect for tradition and a pride in the art of cooking and the best products from Danish farmers.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. It was a real treasure in a quirky setting with lots of atmosphere. The food was very delicious, and good value especially for Copenhagen !

Using Trip Advisor, found Restaurant Puk, made a reservation before leaving the US. For a very expensive city, this is a find. 5 of us enjoyed the pork, stew, filet and fried fish. Shared 2 desserts. Would recommend highly.

This place is a little bit unike, as it's one of a few restaurants serving danish food with an atmosphere bringing you 100 years back in time. We tried their "danish" platter which was delicious with pork steak, cheese, liver pate and more (which could give you trouble getting up of the chair because you're filled up). Note that you must expect that this place is fully booked, so bring your reservation in time.

Tried the herring. Great Danish experience. Probably a do it once kind of meal. Nice atmosphere. About $100 for two mains with two beers

Hidden gem in the heart of the city, not advertised as much as it should, and that's perfect! Me and my wife went there first night in Copenhagen, quite late too (around 22.00) and we were not disappointed. The manager has been super friendly (as the rest of the staff) and provide great suggestions. We did have smorrebrod, steak and roast pork, everything was simply delicious! Definitely we will come back!
