It was a breath of fresh air this little restaurant we stumbled upon in the street right behind our Hotel.
A fixed Prix 6 course menu (it changes daily)....that to be honest I was not expecting much from given the location ( downstairs in what was cellar) and the Decor....i'll leave it to you to decide.
Anyway, to say it was excellent is an understatement by some measure.
Save to say the food was better that some 1 & 2 Michelin star restaurants I have dined at without the pretentiousness.
As an example the Horse meat Cappaccio, was outstanding, and that was my least favorite dish.
And to give you an example of how good this place was,we both ordered desert....and boy it was a treat.
I think the ambiance was also at play with mostly locals dining in the restaurant rocked with raucous laughter and fun being had by many, it had the feel of a medieval tavern with food from heaven.
Go,... Enjoy, you will not be disappointed.... it's not cheap....still a lot less than many other restaurants in Copenhagen and much much better.
