It was a breath of fresh air this little restaurant we stumbled upon in the street right behind our Hotel.
A fixed Prix 6 course menu (it changes daily)....that to be honest I was not expecting much from given the location ( downstairs in what was cellar) and the Decor....i'll leave it to you to decide.
Anyway, to say it was excellent is an understatement by some measure.
Save to say the food was better that some 1 & 2 Michelin star restaurants I have dined at without the pretentiousness.
As an example the Horse meat Cappaccio, was outstanding, and that was my least favorite dish.
And to give you an example of how good this place was,we both ordered desert....and boy it was a treat.
I think the ambiance was also at play with mostly locals dining in the restaurant rocked with raucous laughter and fun being had by many, it had the feel of a medieval tavern with food from heaven.
Go,... Enjoy, you will not be disappointed.... it's not cheap....still a lot less than many other restaurants in Copenhagen and much much better.

Small bar, giving a good atmosphere. Decent selection of wines, about 4 from each country, many available by the glass. Agree with a previous reviewer, staff were complacent. Wine by the glass, some at 50kr, a good few at 75kr and many at 100kr or more. You get a small glass of wine. Just had one each, total cost 210kr. Small menu, didn't try any but a few in the bar were eating. Glad I've been but won't be back.

This bar can be a romantic evening, solo trip or great evening with friends. Not only do they serve fantastic wines at a great price (for Europe) but also tapas with a twist and cozy romantic setting with wine bottles candles, rustic wood tables and fantastic service.
If you have a large group they also have wine tasting parties, well worth the visit.

Location is also outstanding.

Sorry, but this "restaurant" has nothing to do with a spanish tapas bar. The "pan con aioli" was disgusting, i smelled like garlic for two days. So be carefull. Wine tasted like garlic, atmosphere was ok. Service was ruined by the man who only talked to his stuff like an gerneral. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We dropped by for a glass of wine, based on a great write up in the guide book, and were very pleased we did.

It was warm, friendly and felt a little magical inside - rustic homeliness and good selection of wines by the glass. If we had been in Copenhagen longer I suspect we would have gone back to eat there as the food looked great.

A very nice place, with plenty of charm.
