“Best desert and sauce in town!”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

Great and very tasty food, nice ambiance, very reasonably priced menu and very pleasant service. The sauce from the canette breats was superb - order it as soup! - and the poached pears w/merinque, pear sorbet etc. desert was absolutely delicious. Will be back!

“Great French Inspired Food”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

I consider this restaurant the best place to eat in Copenhagen. Excellent food, surprising variety among the dishes, and professional attitude from the waiters. Price level is appropriate.

“Just OK”
Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

I have no problem paying top dollar for a meal when the food, ambience and service warrants it. We found the pumping bass heavy music rather overpowering and not particularly French, and didn't appreciate being told by a rather curt waitress that we were fortunate not to have found even more fat on our rib eye steak! Whilst realising the inflated cost of dining out in Copenhagen, the experience at Tight Restaurant the following evening at a similar price was far superior. Pastis was busy and I'm sure one grumpy review won't bother them in the slightest, but if you are in town for a couple of nights and want a pleasant dining experience, there are lots of other choices!

“The best entrecoté in Copenhagen”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

This is the place to come if you want to have a perfect entrecoté! And don't miss their blue mussels- they are very good. The place also has a brilliant atmosphere and service.

“A Copenhagen classic - Don't miss the fries”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

This Copenhagen classic was recommended to me and I can only agree with that it's a great restaurant if you don't know where to go. It feels like sort of French bistro but with a little industrial touch. The quality of the food is high and the braised lamb was excellent. My company had the steak tartar with fries and the fries were really good.

The waiter was a friendly and very Danish (direct, relaxed while unpretentious).

Tips: If you can't choose - pick the moules or at least the fries...
