The atmosphere is amazing, the service is perfection, and the food is inventive and surprising! Make sure to bring your appetite, your imagination, and your wallet!

The meal we had here was transcendent! Not only is the food great, but the experience as a whole is simply awesome. We were greeted by the chef when we arrived, who was incredibly friendly, keen to understand where we were from, told us the history of the restaurant and how he came to have the only Michelin-starred Thai restaurant. You sit first in a living room-like setting, where you are served a drink of your choice and a series of about 10 different snacks that are absolutely delicious and very creative. We were then moved to our table upstairs, and served a series of about 6 courses, all of which were mind-blowingly flavorful. A few examples include a clear broth flavored with lemongrass and chile that was so good I didn't want to finish it; a piece of fish with cucumber and chive mayonnaise dots on the plate and topped with a freshly muddled sauce of garlic, chile peppers, cilantro, mint, fish sauce and lime juice; and tom yum soup that was ridiculously good. This place is not to be missed, as evidenced by the fact the Thai royal family ate here, and essentially demanded he open a restaurant in Bangkok. Which he did. :-)

The whole event was a little long, 3.5 hours with aperitifs and street food in the bar before sitting down for the dinner proper. Probably half the number of starter plates would be enough.
That complaint apart the way in which Thai spices and dishes were reworked was very creative and delicious. Probably our stand out meal in Copenhagen and we had a few good ones.

If you are in Copenhagen, just go to this restaurant! We had a private business dinner there but the food was just out of this world. Creative, fabulous flavours and just fantastic fun from beginning to end. I have lived in Asia for almost 10 years - but wouldn't believe that I would get such amazing Asian food in Copenhagen. Just perfect!
