“Best risotto outside Italy”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

Wonderful vegetarian risotto, asparagus ravioli, and excellent desserts... good Italian wines too at reasonable prices. Efficient Italian staff and cozy atmosphere; we were very happy!

“Stunning night out!!”
Reviewed November 27, 2011

Ok I'll keep this short as some people seriously ramble on and on.

The wine list is HUGE and we were a little stuck so the Italian waiter came over to help and recommended a fantastic bottle of wine to help us out. He didn't choose the most expensive but a very reasonably priced wine, he listened to our tastes and wants and then brough us the perfect bottle.

We had the taster menu "menu tartuf" or something. It was exceptional. from the poached egg with truffle and parmesan to the most fresh, succulent tasting ravioli pasta all the way to perhaps the best meat dish i have ever tasted- tenderloin of beef with foie gras and the most intense gravy. I have eaten in quite a few michelin starred restaurants and this food was right up there with the best.

Good and helpful service, all Italian's, killer food, nice ambiance- please please visit if you are a food lover like us.

“Excellent trattoria style Italian food.”
Reviewed October 19, 2011

We wanted Italian and pizzas, it was the closest Italian to our hotel so we went there without reading any of the reviews on here. It worked out expensive at €140 for 2 adults and 2 kids, considering that the kids just had margheritta pizzas and ice cream, but the food was freshly cooked and full of flavour. I would also recommend their house red!

“As bad as one could ever expect”
Reviewed August 11, 2011

Our hotel recommended Casa d'Antino. It was a short walk from our hotel. It was the single worst restaurant we ate at in a three week trip. Maybe the worst ever. We ordered. The bread came and had so much salt on it that it was impossible to eat. Then the salads came and they were okay but nothing exceptional. But then the main course came.. two of us ordered a Veal dish and we both looked at each other and the plate before us. The presentation was awful but not as bad as trying to eat tough shoe leather covered in salt. When we complained to the waiter (who then began to ignore us) he finally took the meals and said he would not charge us. But a short time later returned to say he had discussed the meals with the chef and the chef had confirmed that their was nothing wrong with the meals and suggested that perhaps no one in the United States knew how to make a Veal dish correctly. My friend and I decided not to order a replacement meal. My wife had the ravioli which she said was fine but nothing special. I doubt I have ever offered a review that was 100% negative. This may be a first. But with so many good restaurants in Copenhagen I would suggest that even if our experience was an off night or a sick chef you try someplace else.
