We had the four-course tasting menu, which left us cold. The dominant flavour in the sauces in all the dishes was salt. The two fish courses (salted mullet and poached cod) were barely O.K.; the beef course, however, was downright awful. The desert (plumb ice cream) was the only part the meal
we enjoyed.

Service was friendly but very slow.

Magnificent restaurant.

Situated in a peaceful spot by the canal where you can sit back and savour the atmosphere.

The food is exceptional accentuated by meticulous service which is not too fussy but discreetly on hand.

Wines are superb and don’t be shy to ask for advice, Daniel steered us towards a wine that we would not normally have chosen, but it complimented the food beautifully (and it wasn’t one in the higher price bracket).

The overall experience was absolutely first class, well and truly worth a visit if you enjoy beautifully prepared and presented food in a lovely setting. There was nothing any of us could fault.

We had the best food experience of our trip at No. 2. Alexander took great care of us with a friendly and professional manner. The menu offers just enough choices if you don't want the tasting menu. We got the 4 course menu with wine pairings and they were able to substitute a dish due to an allergy. Overall it felt very authentic too with mostly locals dining there. Not pretentious. Beautiful location overlooking the water. Make a reservation.

Just did’t live up to a decent level. An upside was the wine menu that was quite all right, but the four course menu was nothing a mildly seasoned non professional foodie couldn’t do without strain. There’s scores of restaurants in Denmark and Europe with a better kitchen at the same price.
