Note that it is not very big by North American standards but it's a nice little mall that was conveniently located beside our hotel.

The Danish Krona is strong (congratulations) so most foregniers will find stuff like clothes and electronics being more expensive than at home (Norwegians exceped). In this mall you can find everythingfrom Champagne to building material. It was under reconstruction when I visited, but it did not feel like a buliding site. There were all the usual chains of cloths stores and fast food, but also some more narrow things. Overall it felt like a good variety. As everything else in Denmark it is closed on Sundays.

Easy taxi ride to this mall from surrounding hotels or short walk from Marriott along the canal. Directly next door to the Copenhagen Island Hotel. Lots of parking if you drive.

Great multilevel mall with everything you need for shopping, last minute business requirements (printing, cell phone cards, socks), movies, restaurants and people watching.

Easy to catch a cab when you need to return home, grab one at the main roundabout.

A variety of different stores here, but there are a lot of clothes shops. The Forex supermarket is massive and a very good place to buy food and drink for your visit as the smaller shops elsewhere can be expensive with limited choice.

Shops are open 10am–8pm or only to 6pm on Saturdays, and open on selected Sundays only.

If you’re walking from the direction of the Tivoli Hotel/Island Hotel, there are steps up round to the main entrance or there is another entrance at the rear, past the outside of the cinema area.

The restaurants, which are spread over different levels, stay open until 10pm. There is a McDonald’s and Sunset Boulevard here, also restaurants such as Panorama and Pizza House which serve Italian food and have good-value buffets. We ate from the Italian buffet at Panorama one evening for 89 Kroner each plus drinks.

It looks like they are expanding the centre towards the top as there were some areas undergoing improvements (August 2011).
