My friend Anna and I went on the Louisiana MOMA tour with Tours In Copenhagen and it was worth every penny. Our guide Kristian picked us up on time at the place we were staying and drove us to Louisiana Museum. Kristian balanced the line between being present and giving us time to enjoy the museum on our own. Louisiana MOMA is as great as people talk about, truly a pearl within modern art museums, and we can only recommend Louisiana and Kristian as your guide.

Our group of travelers - 16 - made arrangements with Hamlet Tours for the Inner City Tour. Kristian was our guide and a great resource for the history of both Copenhagen and Denmark. It truly was a delightful day - a good blend of activities and exposure to the city and the culture. I highly recommend Hamlet tours.

My friend Molly and I always travel this time of year and seek a local, private guide the first day or so to get us out and about. This helps us meet a local and learn some of the language, about the culture and about some of the favorite local restaurants, music/theatre venues and things to do. We're always had wonderful guides... and Kristian Sottrup is at the top of our "favorites" list. We spent the day at Elisnore Castle and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and learned about the history Danish culture. More importantly, we got to talk with and spend the day with Kristian who is accommodating, knowledgeable and funny. He gave us great insights into what to do and see during the rest of our visit and where to go to get off the beaten path. If you're looking for a great guide, Kristian is the perfect choice!

If you want a private car picking you up at hotel and guide, Kristian is the One to go to for 1st class treatment ! He was kind, attentive, intelligent, and fully historically versed on all places he escorted my husband and me around Denmark countryside including archeological landmarks, viking museum and marina, old kloster village and restaurant, and Copenhagen surroundings, as well as taking us to a Swedish beach, Swedish bridge to nowhere, cobblestone village, marina, fish store, and home made ice cream shop. Personally attentive to historical detail, while watching wild swans in the moat of Kronborg castle, he explained historical architectural development of castle and its signifigance controlling the waters between Sweden and Denmark. Also memorable was our our walking Telleborg embattlements protecting viking longhouse community settlements. HIS SPECIALTY IS BRINGING HISTORY TO LIFE. SO HATS OFF TO HIM !!!!

We are a group of old friends who meet up once a year for a weekend in a European city. Our September trip to Copenhagen was one of the best – mainly because of the brilliant “Highlights” tour (with van ) provided for us by Kristian. We were enlightened, educated and entertained for 5 hours. We learned a tremendous amount about Copenhagen and its history. Our only regret was not having videoed Kristian’s account of the various Scandinavian national characters so that we could laugh again once we were back home and remember the lovely day we spent. Highly recommended.
