The Adina apartments are sleek, modern, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a studio apartment with floor to ceiling wall of windows and a sliders to a small balcony. The windows were double-glazed and soundproof. We were facing the side and could see the train tracks and highway a bit off to the side but we were not bothered by any noise. The furnishings were hip and everything seemed clean and fairly new. We appreciated the little kitchenette with microwave, refridgerator, sink and cupboards. The bathroom had slate floors which seemed to be heated... a nice touch. The lobby is gorgeous, huge and comfortable for lounging. The infinity pool and sauna were very nice. The whirlpool was out of operation the day we tried to use it.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is a bit of of the way. We found it best to have bikes, which Adina rents at the hotel (or you can rent them for 50K less at Osterport station, a 10-minute walk away). It's a great bike ride along Copenhagen harbor to central CPH, and biking around Kastellet park is beautiful. The 26 bus stops right down the street from the Adina. However, we often found ourselves waiting 15 mins. for the bus, then a 10 min. bus ride to the center. Not a big deal, but bikes were more fun.

Overall, it's a very nice property in an up and coming neighborhood that doesn't feel touristy.

I would without a doubt recommend the Adina Apartments as a great place to stay. It is a little out of the centre, but sometimes it is nice to stay in a non touristy area. And besides it is only a 20 min walk into the centre and the bus 26 which is 30 second walk away from the hotel only takes about 10 mins to get into town and it is the most handy bus.

As you would have heard, Copenhagen is really expensive - but the Netto right next door as mention in other reviews is really good (beware, they do not accept foriegn credit cards, so make sure you get some from a ATM at the airport)!

Eating out options round the area are quite limited, but the Otto resturant attached to the hotel was very nice when we dine there. Also a few minute walk about is another resturant the m/s Amerika which served us some wonderful food!

Our rooms were very clean and kept clean but house keeping - the shower was amazing, altho the the bathroom is a little small.

What I really loved about the apartment was the swimming pool, gym which were mostly empty so we really got to enjoy ourselves.

In short, i would def come back here. I was very impressed and i would look to stay in their apartments in Hungary too.

The Adina Apartemnts is part of a redevelopment of the port area in Copenhagen. There is alot of construction ongoing in the area. The apartment I stayed overlooks the main road and a 6 to 8 train tracks. The sound insulation on the larg windows helped reduce the noise but did manage to eleminate it. Sleeping is difficult until you get used to the noise. We were a family of six, so we took a two bedroom apartement. The strange thing is that they charged 250 Coronas per night for the use of the Sofa bed. They also charged 130 Kronas per night for parking in the hotel underground parking. The breakfast was not included in the room rate. Over all the flat was of a good quality and well equiped albiet being economical with space. The service is not bad and the towels look tired.

I struggled to find something within our price range, and so many of the reviews for other hotels were so mixed. When I found Adina, I was really excited, because it was just within our price range, and it had a pool and sauna (which I knew my husband would love). Searched around for the best price (I wanted one that included breakfast). I think we ended up paying about £300 for three nights.

As others have said, it is a bit of a walk to the city centre, but all things considered, it's not that far. Especially not when you consider all the amenities you get at Adina. The train and intercity train station is about a 7 min walk, if you don't wish to walk into town. I would recommend getting a 10 clip card. There is also a bus which is quite close (but we didn't use it, so I can't vouch for where it picks up and sets down).

The area is more residential than touristy, but we did not mind. We arrived early, hoping to stow our luggage, but our room was ready, so we were able to check in. Our room was just a studio, but it was really nice and clean. The bed is comfortable, and we had no complaints about the housekeeping service. The front desk was really friendly and helpful. The pool wasn't in service on our first night, but they reopened it the second night, so that was good.

We loved having a kitchenette. It only had a microwave and fridge, so no stovetop. Copenhagen is really pricey, so we were happy to make sandwiches and keep some costs down. We shopped at the Netto - remember to bring your own bag. As we've experienced in other grocery stores in Denmark and Sweden, they'll charge you to 'buy' and use their bags.

I would highly recommend staying at Adina Hotel. Don't let the fact that it's not in the city centre put you off. There's plenty of ways to get there by public transportation. And it's worth it to stay in such a lovely place.

We spent a long weekend in Copenhagen back in May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Adina Apartments.
We booked a one bedroom apartment through Expedia which offered great value for money. Not a huge space but it does not feel cramped at all. Very bright and with everything you could need. The kitchen is fully equiped and there is a washer and dryer in the bathroom (bring your own soap powder). Flat screen TVs in the lounge and bedroom as well as a CD player.
The tea and coffee in the room are complementary but everything else is very expensive. However this is where the apartments come into their own if you are on a budget. With a Netto store next door you can buy loads of food and drink on your doorstep (you have to pay in cash). We had breakfast in bed, made packed lunches and great dinners with wine and beer all for a fraction of the cost of eating out. With all mod cons including a dish washer in the kitchen cooking did not feel like the chore it is at home.
You can have room service if you want or eat in the bar downstairs so you get the best of both worlds.
The staff were very helpful and attentive and could not do enough for us.
The hotel is a bit out of town but a lovely walk through the park and along the water front only takes 20 mins to get into the centre so it was not a problem for us.
We would thoroughly recomend you considder staying here if you want the flexibility an apartment hotel offers.

Made the reservation with Octopus. It was everything the website says and more. I booked a one bedroom. The bed was comfortable. The closet in the bedroom was large, and includes a safe. There is a Plasma tv on the wall, and airconditioning!!

The liviing room is comfortably furnished, and couch does turn into a pull down bed. There is a balcony off the living room.

The kitchen is modern, full size fridge and freezer, toaster, dishes pans, stove, oven, everything you could want and need including a dishwasher and one soap per day is under the cabinet.

The bathroom is large, and includes, washer and dryer, you have to provide the soap though.

There are multiple mini bar lures around, be careful.

There is a "Netto" store right downstairs and you can find everything you will need there. They don't take credit or debit cards to bring cash to the store.

We got a free breakfast vouchers with our room through Octopus, and it was great. Saved a ton of money with this.

If you take the bus get of at Indiaplas, and walk about 1 block down on the right. It is near the train station, about 2 blocks.

We used public transportation, buying week long passes for transport at the airport.

You can also buy a CPH card which includes transport and admission into several different attractions.

Copenhagen is very expensive, and this hotel was more per night than an older hotel may have been. It was worth the price I believe.

It was quiet, air-conditioned, nicely decorated and well appointed, large rooms.

My son lives in Copenhagen and has stayed at multiple hotels here. He was impressed with Adina.

We traveled with our 9 year old. The only problem was that the pool was not operating. Closed for refurbishment.

Apparently there is a workout and spa room, but did not use these.

Enjoy your trip to Copenhagen, and bring a lot of money, it is really expensive, compared to the USA!

We have just returned from 3 nights at the Adina Apartments and I can easily recommend it. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful; the rooms are spacious and clean, with underfloor heating in the bathrooms - a real treat! The pool is quite small, but very practical and certainly good enough for a quick 20-30 minute dip. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive (Otto's restaurant was closed for renovation while we were there) with all sorts of pastries, cold meats, pancakes, cheeses, and so on. The walk into the centre of town takes about 25 minutes, and to the train station (Osterport) it's about 10 minutes (a little less if you take the shortcut along the platform rather than going all the way around the bend!). Trains from Osterport go into the city centre (takes about 10 minutes and trains every ten minutes) and also onward to the airport (no changes). Going northbound you can get to Helsinger (Elsinore - quite cute and pretty) in about 45 minutes. All in all, a good, uncomplicated place to stay.
