I stayed for 8 days in Adina apartment hotel with my family, I booked family package which is 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with washing machine and a dryer with fully equipped kitchen with breakfast included. We rely enjoyed a lot our stay, the apartment is very comfortable & clean. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The location is in one of the nicest place in Copenhagen, 10 minutes walk from Osterport train station. Bus 26 stops at the door which take you to the city center. It is 10 minutes walk to the Harbor canal and to the very beautiful garden "the Kastellet". There is a near by supermarket which is opened all the week including Sunday mornings.
But there is no free internet in the rooms and away from the city center ( 2 train stations from the central station) .

While the Adina is a bit out of the way, that shouldn't stop you from staying here. The walk to the middle of town is about 25-30 minutes. The bus runs right by the hotel and gets you into town in 10-15 minutes for about $2 USD. The exercise room is convenient and useful as well as the heated, indoor pool. For your money in Copenhagen, I would stay here again and ride the bus into town to sight see, then come back for a nice quiet evening.

If you want a hotel in the town centre- look somewhere else, as the Adina is 20 mins+ walk away or 10 mins walk and a train.
This did become an issue for us-- but on balance the apartments are so clean, modern and spacious it warrants high marks. The living/dining area is good, and obviously saves the cost of eating out the whole time.

One other small negative is being overlooked by adjoining (non Adina) apartments and the noise of their kids playing around-- but it didnt bother us too much.

I stayed at the Adina in May, June and July and part of August. The location is very quiet and safe, but a bit away from the lively center. You can however easily walk to Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. Try to walk along the key side to Nyhavn, or through the Castellet. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and taxies will be there within a minute when called. The hotel has a friendly staff. Most of the rooms are apartments. There is a gym, a swimming pool and a restaurant.. The breakfast is great, but a bit pricey. You will probably prepare your own breakfast as the flat has a kitchen. The flat has two flat screen TV (a bit small size for the living room, OK for the bed room). There is dish washer, micro wave, fridge, electric cooker, safe, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are glasses, plates and cutlery. There is air conditioning. The hotel is either extremely well sound insulated, or the guest are well behaved, as I never misses a night sleep during my three months from outside noice. The Gym is great and the restaurant fair. Try a Aussie Burger for 135 dkr.
There is only two annoying things. One is a glass wall on the bath tub. That wall makes it difficult to get out of the bath, and is a potential hazard. Why not a shower curtain?
The second is the Internet cost. The broadband in the room cost 50 dkr for 2 hours, 75 dkr for 6 hours, and so on. Make sure you do not accept the first offer on the broadband menu as that is a full month for 2000 dkr! There is free Internett in the lobby area, but that is not good enough.

I booked the Adina mainly because it is apartments, not a traditional hotel room. As apartments go I have had better but these are quite comfortable, adequate size though not as exciting as things appear on the website. Standard of cleanliness did not match expectations...I don't like to see stains on pillows (that'll teach me to look inside the pillowcase !!) & beds without a mattress protector. (Very comfy though). Good kitchen facility but again in need of thorough sparkling.
If anyone wonders if I raised these points, the answer is *No*..after observing some of the desk staff dealing with other guests I decided I didn't need a surly encounter for my £160 per night!!
Now, better things, excellent breakfast, worth having even though you have your own kitchen. Lovely area , take a stroll to see cruise ships coming in & you can also pick up bus / boat tours there. City is further to walk than you expect but the boat ride is lovely. If you want night life this is not the place for you...too far out....but a nice relaxing way to do a City break if you want a peaceful night.
I would use this place again as overall it is a good find in an expensive City......it could be more welcoming , they take your money but don't seem to value customers, but if a place suits your requirements that sometimes will have to suffice...special staff is a bonus!
& I might pack a pillow next time!!
