“First class place to stay.”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

I have just stayed 2 nights here in a Studio on the 6th floor. From the moment we checked in the lovely receptionist Laerke could not have been more friendly and helpful. Despite checking in early she found a room that suited my request to be on an upper floor and happily answered all of my questions. The fact the hotel is not dead central to me was an advantage, easily got to by a direct train to Osterport from the airport then a 10 minute walk. The hotel is close by the cruise terminal area, an area that has been tastefully developed with modern office blocks and flats and only a 5 minute walk to the "Little Mermaid" On the same block as the hotel there is a small supermarket and on the next block a lovely little bakers making the most delicious bread, cakes and coffee....ideal for a breakfast snack.
We ate in Ottos the hotels own restaurant/bar the first night, good quality at a reasonable price though a 0.5 ltr of Lager at 100kr seemed a bit steep!!
The second night we had the most delicious Pizza from the small Italian restaurant just across the road again at a reasonable price.
The hotel is about a 35 minute walk from the centre of town but well worth doing this as it lets you see places you might not if staying dead centre. We walked along the shore front to Nyhaven well worth a visit with all it's lovely restaurants and colourful buildings, the second day we walked via the roads passing through the park and palace to the centre of the main shopping area and again back to Nyhaven for lunch.
If your not into walking the hotel have about 20 cycles for hire at 125kr per day......Copenhagen is the most cycle friendly city I have ever visited so this would be a great way to explore more. Also as previously mentioned the number 26 bus stops close by the hotel and runs into the town centre.
We found the hotel very clean and our studio was perfect, lovely comfy double bed, large sofa and TV and radio, small kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle crockery and cutlery etc. the bathroom was small but had a lovely powerful walk in shower, no bath but that suits me fine.Sadly no free wifi in the rooms but is available at an extra cost although the reception area has some nice comfy seating with free wifi available there.
I sampled the swimming pool ( water pretty chilly! ) not too big but big enough to do a few lengths, a small Sauna and also Jacuzzi, the gym looked pretty well kitted out but not used by myself.
All in all a great place to stay.....every member of staff that we met were all very helpful, all spoke perfect English and all seemed so happy in their work.
I will certainly recommend staying here, and indeed would return myself again.

Room Tip: One side of the hotel looks over a main road and busy railway line. Ask for a room as high as possib...

Four friends and I flew out to Copenhagen early December to kick off the festivities. The staff at Adina (especially on reception) were fantastic from the start; very friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions and nightlife. We stayed in a 5 person apartment, which was extremely spacious and comfortable, with screens in every room and a well equipped kitchen.

Our room was serviced daily (cleaned and tidied to check-in standards) and our amenities replenished daily. The gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and pool were all of great quality, and a much needed morning detox.

Cabs to the centre of town were quick (5 mins) and cheap (£10). A medium sized 7-11 is conveniently situated next door, with all the food/booze you will need.

Great all rounder; so much so that we are staying in Adina (Budapest) for our next adventure!

I really thanks the people that reccomnded this accomodation in Tripadvisor as they gave to me all the suggestion to find a perfect place to relax in Copenaghen.
All the staff are amazing, facilities excellent and i really raccomend this place for light sleepers as if you ask during the booking to have a quite room they will give to you .
This aparthotel is green as most of the people are in Copenaghen, and I really appreciate the life style of this Country.
Frendly is the approuch of most of all people in Copenaghen.
Even id Adina isnt't in the centre the 26 bus station to the centre is very closed to the Hotel, it only takes 20 minutes to get to the City.
I reccomend you one time to walk to the City, passing trought the river , you will meet the " Sirenetta" statue , really suggestive !
Enjoy this amazing City !

Room Tip: I suggest to you to have a top level room on a courtyard side

The Adina is a friendly, clean & comfortable Apart hotel with easy access to the port for ferries & cruise ships and a shortish walk from the Little Mermaid; however all other attractions are a fair hike from the hotel with few buses & trains on the doorstep. We rented a car from the airport so had no such problems with transportation but a word of warning, there is virtually no free parking in Copenhagen, so be prepared to pay for secure car parks and at pay/display meters. The restaurant attached to the Adina laid on an excellent spread for breakfast and dinner was oiffered there too but as in the USA, main meals were extra so be prepared to pay! Altogether the apartment we occupied on the first floor was in good decorative repair and was set up for self catering equipped with a cooker/hob, microwave, large fridge/small freezer with china & cutlery provided plus there was a washer/drier for laundry situated in the bathroom. The sitting room was fully furnished and there were also two small flat screen TVs and a CD music system. The beds (we had a twin room) were comfortable and it was quiet to sleep at night. I would recommend the Adina to both family & friends.

Room Tip: Sleep at the back of the Aparthotel overlooking the "garden area"

Although not close to city center it was a great walk on a day off from work. The staff was very accommodating and extremely helpful. It was a very easy walk to the UN city. It was great having the kitchenette and the close by grocery. The free breakfast was everything you need in the morning.

We stayed at the Adina just after Christmas this year. We found the hotel to be in a great location for a nice brisk walk into the city, clean and really pleasant. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgable about their city, especially a young woman named Laerke and another blonde receptionist. Both of them were really easy to speak to and helped to make our time in Copenhagen quite special.

Room Tip: The one bedroom apartments are nice sized, the kitchenette is well equiped and the separate bedroom...

It's a reasonably OK hotel, not quite 4* but slightly better than 3*.

It's clean, well equipped, which is great for a long stay, but there were flaws.

I thought the staff at reception were a little blunt. I'm not sure whether it's the culture and that's just how people are, but, a lady behind us asked how to get to the airport from the hotel, the lady replied "by train" and that was it. So the next question asked was, how do I get to the train station and the response was "walk" and which point her friend interjected that she knew where the train station and that they would be fine.

The train station is about 10 mins walk and in winter it will feel longer. Also, I'm sure Copenhagen is a very safe city, however, the hotel does not have much life around it so it can feel a bit daunting walk back in the dark on your own. On the upside, there is a small supermarket downstairs on the corner of the building which is useful for basics; milk, bread etc

Also, the hotel is in the zone outside of central copenhagen so you have to pay for an extra zone to get into town, even though it is not actually that far. (Copenhagen not being a huge city like London, New York or Tokyo). At the time I was there, a single to the city was 24kr. (approx. £2.50-£2.60), if there are 2 of you going in and out of town all day, this will add up and you may be better off paying a bit more and staying in a hotel more centrally located. However, you can buy carnets and this will make journeys cheaper.

Unfortunately, the heating in the swimming pool wasn't working when I was there so ended up having a very very cold swim. I did hear the lady at reception tell people about this later on in the day.

The lobby is nice and there is a lovely fireplace to warm yourself after a cold day. Although they charge you 20kr for a coffee in the lobby. This seemed a tad stingy given that most people in the lobby will be hotel guests. It's unlikely, given the location, that you will have strangers/public walking in helping themselves to coffee.

I probably wouldn't stay here again unless it was considerably cheaper than other hotels in Copenhagen or I had a car and was exploring the wider area.

Dear Londoner_8,
Thank you for your review her eon tripadvisor and your information.
I will speak with the reception in regards giving better information and show direction. Denmark is expensive for public transport and thats one of the main reasons why danes bike alot. There is free coffee in the rooms and we do have guest from the builings around which are coming to buy coffee and have small meetings.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
