“Nice place that off course u will visit”
Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

When you visit a city normally the first place is the City Hall. This one in CPH is really nice and open, despite that in the whole city there is a caos because they are building the train stations and they expect to finish in 2015.

“AN INTERESTING BUILDING WITH A GREAT SQUARE”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

The City Hall of Copenhagen has influence from the Italian architecture ,it reminds me especially Florence. As we visited the Tivoli Luna Park with the beautiful gardens that is next to the City Hall and walk in the pedestrian Strogen street with the shops and cafes ,which starts from City Hall's Square,we spend some time at the Square, eating hot-dog and drinking beer.
We visited only the main Hall of building, as we have not enought time but, i believe is interesting to see more rooms and i felt sorry we couldn't go up to the clock-tower and see the view of the town.

the stair climb in a great aerobic workout too

There are building new metro stations so there are many works on the place. Not easy to take nice pictures. It should be finished in... 2018

“Don't miss it, and don't let the name fool you”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Yes, it's a city hall, but it's likely not like many you've seen. It's gorgeous, and even if you don't have time to tour the entire building, you must walk through and see both the interior and exterior courtyards. The exterior courtyard (you must enter the building to see it) is stunning. Takes you back in time. This structure is open to the public and it's free. Just on the edge of the Stroget, it's a great place to capture some culture and history of Copenhagen. The architecture, bricks, turrets, windows, decorative painting on the walls are not to be missed! This is "the real deal" of Copenhagen. Great for 1-3 hours.
