We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Collette Vacations tour of Scandinavia. At first, I was very disappointed with the location. The view is good, the site beautiful and Copenhagen's largest mall is next door, However, with a half hour's walk to the downtown area, the hotel is a bit far from many of the places we want to go. The savior was the Hop-On Hop-Off bus/cruise. A short walk to the nearby Marriott connected us to the Hop-On Hop-Off bus; and even shorter walk back of the hotel connected us to the cruise. Once we discovered this, the location began to grow on us.
The room was good and we like the free internet in the large business centre. There was also a nice restaurant to have our breakfast in. There were negatives as well. Breakfast, while adequate, was the worst we had in Scandinavia. There was no place to put our luggage after our early arrival from our cruise ship. We were required to leave our luggage in the lobby. Also, the beds were very soft and the mattresses did not seem to fit well. The staff were not as friendly and helpful as we had found elsewhere (although they were not really unfriendly either).More
