“Greyhound or bust!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

We took the Greyhound or Denmark's version of it (certainly more cleaner and comfier than the US version). We caught the bus to Malmo, Sweden to take over the bridge instead of taking the train UNDER the bridge so we can get a look at what all of the chatter was about.

We purchased our round trip tickets a the tourist Info center (their coffee and pastry shop was amazing, BTW) across from Tivoli Gardens/Hard Rock Café. The bus stop was located across from another Tivoli entrance and Grand Central Station.

We rode up front for good pictures and we were lucky the weather was perfect! The windmills in the water were beautiful to those of us not familiar with them. The bridge itself was a power to be reckoned with and it looks strikingly similar to Tampa, FL Sunshine Skyway.

All in all, we felt very safe going over the bridge in a bus in high winds!

“Very impressive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2013

One long bridge (8km or 5mi). I remember when we used to build stuff like this in the U.S. RailEurope threw it in free with my Scandinavia rail pass. This line also serves the Copenhagen airport.

“Scary and expensive”

A feat of engineering, very expensive, check different price options before you go. Really interesting and exciting.

“Yes, it's only a bridge, but accept its a great engineering feat.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

It's a bridge, lots of steel everywhere... But it's enormous! It's not got the big pretty suspension features of things like the Sydney Harbour Bridge or even the Humber Bridge, but it's something to say "been over that" and to really think about how much work must have gone into building it and how practical it is. Also, as a day trip from Copenhagen, Malmo is lovely.

“It's a bridge!”

Yes, it's a marvel of engineering, and it does possess a certain grace of form, and it's very useful!
Isn't that true for most bridges though?
