“There is no other way......”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

.... to see Copenhagen! The Amager location of Bikify was across the street from our accommodation so it couldn't have been more convenient. The folks working there were friendly and most accommodating. The only inconvenience was having to book on-line but that was overcome easily. Copenhagen streets are a bikers heaven. The 'complete streets' make for safe riding. A complete street is one that has a lane for cars, then are the parked cars, then the bike path and then the pedestrian sidewalk beside the buildings. We rented bikes for 5 days and rode from one end of the city to the other on bikes that were well-maintained, come with locks and a basket. The staff custom fit the bike for our height requirements. A good place to rent from! Thanks, Bikify people!

“The only way to see the city”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Picked up and dropped off at Amager location. Guys at the shop were friendly and helpful and the bikes were in good working condition. Really enjoyed spending the week cycling around town, it really is the best way to see the city and I would argue the infrastructure is much more considerate for bicycles than for cars or public transit.

“Easy to book, pick-up and go...”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

Prices are okay and it's convenient to book over the internet... so the only thing you have to do is biking :)

“Bikify bikes is a very good store.”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Bikify is a very organized store. From ordering your bike, to actually picking it up and then returning it at the end of the trip, paying and getting security deposit back - all these were easy done. The man in the store was friendly and explained how to get to Nyhavn as well.

We had rented a tandem bicycle. It was comfortable and we rode about 40 kilometer in 3 days time with no troubles.

Top score to this store.

Tip: Bring a map of the city from your hotel before going to the store. Depending upon your pace you can cover Stroget, Nyhaven and Der Lile Havfrue (the mermaid) all in one day.

“Bike rental”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

Rented 2 bikes for one week, from the Amager store, 3 speeds, one had problems, the chain kept coming off, so we returned to the shop and the mechanic arranged for 7 speed bikes from the other shop. This was excellent service, as we were interested in touring outside Copenhagen, 70 km rides. The upgrade was very much appreciated, as the 7 speed bikes made the longer rides doable, 3 speeds are adequate for the city. The bikes are good quality and recommended, try the ride to Dragør, past the airport or up the coast past Charlottelund.
