We stumbled onto this place during a (very cold) walk in the streets of Copenhagen, and initially we only planned to have some coffee to warm ourselves up, but we were so charmed by the place that we decided to stay for lunch. This place has a total of 3 tables (all occupied), so we sat at the bar.
The place doesn’t have an English menu, so the very friendly owner took a few minutes to translate the whole thing for us. Among all the options of simple but typical Danish “pub” food, we chose the Mini Plate and the Smørrebrød plate for a little bit of everything (herring, shrimp, meatballs, chicken salad, red cabbage, rye bread, and many more things). With delicious Danish beer, of course.
This was by no means “haute gastronomie”, but the selection of foods that were offered were very tasty and fresh, and we really enjoyed them and our whole experience at this place! A little glass of Aquavit to finish the meal and we were ready to face the cold winter fog of Copenhagen for the rest of our walk.
