Several restaurants at this little "hidden" square in the centre of Copenhagen. Le Pave seemed most to our liking and I'm happy it did. The cellar restaurant was intimate, cosy with excellent service. Food was very good and to top it off the Creme Brulee was close to perfection. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, service and location. Went there for a romantic dinner. Ordered the months menu, escargot, entrecote and tarte tartin. Attentive staff, waiter recommended an excellent wine in our price range.

The food here was delicious. THe food here was MUCH Better than the famous and very expensive Falsled Kro , and was so Much better by far than any other food we have had in Copenhagen. It was clean food, with lots of perfectly cooked vegetables. We had the chicken and the fish. We have had lots of heavy food in some restaurants in denmark, and no vegetables generally so we were thrilled with this place. If we had discovered this a few days ago we would have eaten here everyday of our trip. It is not often that you find such fantastic food.

Plain and simple cuisine which meet your expectations and then some more. Don't expect to get haute cuisine because this restaurant makes traditional cuisine to affordable prices. But the quality and the choise of garniture is very well chosen and the chef seems always to make perfect combinations for both starters, main course and dessert. Especially their chocolate dessert on a cracker is just a plain and simple 'Bulls Eye'.

We stumbled across this place by accident but were very glad we did! We even went back the next night! Lovely food - I had the chicken two nights in a row. Friendly and polite waiters and very nice surroundings in the evening. Just don't ask for a cider (It's a passion fruit and vodka alcopop!!) :-)
