It's rare that we travel without cross-referencing Trip Advisor, Zagat and Chowhound. Having just arrived in Copenhagen, we didn't know what to expect in terms of energy to dine on the first night.
With no background research, we wandered to the new harbor area - which is totally charming. There is a dizzying array of dining choices. We wandered the entire strip of places to try to discern where the locals were eating - we noticed more drinking than eating and ended up choosing NyhavnsKroen.
It was fortuitous. The area is a bit of a tourist trap and the restaurant delivered authentic and high quality Danish food. We would go back, but have little time to make another visit.
