We stayed in a junior suite which was a lovely room. It was kept well cleaned and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and very well stocked and there is a little shop for anything you might have forgotten to bring with you. The spa area was nice and clean, although the bubble jacuzzi function was broken but it was still nice to relax and take in the view. The gym was well equipped but the glass ceiling might put some people off as people walking to their rooms can look in on you but that didn't bother us. The only thing that did bother us was the ventilation in our room. The junior suites have fantastic enormous windows which give a lovely view of the harbour area. Unfortunately, it was hot and sunny while we were staying there and all that glass makes the room like a greenhouse. It meant keeping the blinds shut a lot of the time. We were able to open one window to cool it down but the room really would benefit from better air-conditioning. The system in the room was ok but couldn't cope with that much heat from the sun. Free parking at the hotel was great and there was always space and there are local shops and takeaways for convenience. Transport into the city centre was easy by bus and fun using the harbour buses, although their times are more erratic. All in all, I would recommend this hotel. There is room for improvement but it was good value for money.
