I enjoyed it! There were a few HC Andersen relics but it's more a Disney-esque 'experience' rather than a museum, whereby you can listen to and watch some of his fairytales portrayed by small animatronic displays. Also a brief biography of the man as you progress through the museum. However it can be done within half an hour, so it's not fantastic value for money but then nothing is in Copenhagen! I'm glad I went though.

If you love H.C. you'll love this, if you are just interested in him, you might find it a little "dry".

The "everything" museum does a cursory job of telling about Andersen and his stories. It could do a bit better with his life and much better with his stories. I was led to believe that the stories were told with moving scenes. Not so (okay, a couple had a little movement). Just a scene with the story read out loud in one of three languages. It's a cheap display that really could have been so much better with just a bit of engineering. Make the characters move in time with the story, not like this hasn't been done for well over a century.

I was disappointed. Children will like it, and it takes about 30 minutes (if you take your time) to work your way through.

Display tells the story of Hans Christian Andersen's life and works. There are displays that read you the main stories with some nice displays portraying what is happening. It has enough information and displays to be interesting, but isn't an extremely long experience. Great especially for kids.

Very, very tacky! Only went in because it was free on our Copenhagen card. Definitely not worth paying for.
