“If you only climb one tower...”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

A church tower climb with a difference, with the last third of it on a staircase spiralling round the outside of the steeple - always to the weather-vane itself! It's exhilarating and possibly not for anyone who suffers with vertigo. But it's perfectly safe with a shoulder-high barrier all the way up. Great views from and over the Christiana end of the city. The church itself is also stunning with a spectacular organ on the backs of two elephants,

“lots of fun”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

loved the old stairs - bells - and beautiful church - and what a view! We rode bikes from our hotel Kong Arthur. I made it to the top and went outside - my husband climbed to the very top outside the steeple. Worth the trip!

“Head for heights required”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The stairs around the spire need a head for heights especially on a windy day. Great view of the whole area and well worth the money. The climb up through the tower could be a bottle neck on a busy day and watch out for the flashing orange light in the bell tower!

“First thing to visit in Copenhagen!”
Reviewed June 22, 2013 via mobile

Provides an excellent 360 degree view of the city from above. Definitely worth the climb (pretty steep stairs and narrow passageways) and the 40 DKK (7-8 USD). At the first viewing level, descriptions of visible landmarks are provided. Good way to orient yourself to the city.

“Good views from spire.”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

A wonderful church, the interior is very distinctive, very airy and light and an interesting place to look round. The organ is fantastic - the organist was practising when we were there and its sound added a wonderful ambience to the place.
Visiting the church was free.
The other attraction is the spire, with a spiral staircase around its outside. This does cost, but the views are worth it! Might be best avoided in the rain, and the wind can make it feel cold even on a warm day.
