This was our visit on our last morning and well worth the walk along the Waterfront from Nyhaven. The visit covered a number of different things: the Little Mermaid, over run with bus tour people many of whom thought they were the only ones there; the actual fortifications around the base which are accessible to the public and include many historic buildings and the Gefion Fountain. We were looking for the Resistance Museum, which would have been a highlight, but all we saw were the burnt out buildings where it had once been. We missed it by about a month. Some of the notices about the museum were still in the garden and these gave some idea of what had been there.
