“Kew it's not!”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

I rather liked this. It was a late unplanned entry on our tour. I wasn't sure my 11 year old boy would appreciate plants but surprisingly he did. I loved the buildings and it was warm in the houses so I good place for a mid-winter visit. Less spectacular that Kew in London I was pleasantly surprised. A short bus ride from the centre of Copenhagen.

“Botanical Gardens Worth A Visit”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Free, and very well done, with a fantastic glass conservatory. Even in the fall it was worth walking around.

Reviewed October 28, 2013

The colours of the trees in autumn/fall makes a visit to Copenhagen's Botanical gardens just beautiful at this time of year.

“Pleasant Urban Garden”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

The Botanical Garden was the first place we visited in Copenhagen. It was in walking distance and gave us a chance to relax after a long flight. The garden features a variety of gardens, all in an urban setting. There is a lake and a small stream that runs down a hill. It is the type of park area that makes demonstrates how Scandinavians love to be outside.

“Not on the tourist circuit.”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We found this by accident, and aren't we glad we did. An oasis from the hustle of the city. Mostly locals, no bikes allowed. Peace and quiet in lovely surroundings with a huge greenhouse, lakes and bridges. Really nice just to wander around and chill. Fabulous plants on show.
