Description: If a bunch of international gourmets had a party and cooked burgers That's the thought behind Haché Gourmet Burgers. Haché is French and means minced. The butchers name is Peter and he only uses Danish cattle. The sesame buns are straight from the oven and the baker who bakes them is from Amager. We serve chicken from France, and all the dips are homemade right here in the kitchen. Is the result then he best burger in the world? I guess we are not quite French enough to answer that. Welcome and Bon appétit

Hache is among my favorite burger joints in Copenhagen. Not too posh, quick and friendly service and delicious and sometimes slightly experimental burgers on the menu. They always have a special vegetarian burger on the menu, but any of the burgers can be made in a vegetarian version if you ask for it. All the ingredients taste fresh and delicious and there is feeling of quality to the meal. Maybe a bit too bright and diner-like for a romantic dinner, but the quality of the food is worth the cost if you are in need of some good stylish fast food.

Relaxed atmosphere and great burgers. There are a variety of burgers to choose from.

There is some noise due to high ceilings.
No outdoor seating.

Having been around six times now Hache are consistant with the quality and the service. A great choice of burgers including several veggie options. Wonderful onion rings and fries. Weekday lunch specials save little but the prices for central Copenhagen are reasonable. Last time I tried the pulled pork sandwich for a change and it was delicious. Just across from Torvehalle market. If you're wondering where it is. Enjoy.

Being veggie in Denmark is not easy, unless you like Brie three meals a day. Which I do, but that gets old. :) Hache did offer two vegetarian burger options--a portobello burger and a zucchini burger. I went twice, but I liked the portobello so much, I ordered it again. We were lucky to get in the second time since the place was packed and many tables were reserved.

The roll is kind of blah, but the portobellos were nicely grilled and the condiments and pickles were delicious.

TIP: Go at lunch time and for 85DKK you can get a slightly smaller version of the same burger that would cost 95DKK, plus the order includes a side (I had yummy fries) in the price at lunch but not at dinner.

First of all! The place looked like they couldn't decide if it should look like a fancy, hip restaurant or a kebab joint..that doesn't necessarily mean that the food is bad thoug....but, the food is bad:( big and dry buns on the cold burgers, full of salat, that makes the burger kind of squoshi...:( not what i would call a gourmet burger! It is kind of sad, because the concept is really cool! But, on the pluss size, their homemade sauces was really good:) service was so so... Price: not worth it!
