“Cool area!”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Stayed here for 2 nights and walked to the centre and all the new trendy bar and restaurants of Vestebro and Meatpacking. Great area, great price. Rooms and service just fine for 2 nights, bathroom a little small but fresh towels etc. Nice room on first floor. Great coffee/pastry shops around if you decide not to have breakfast at the hotel - which was adequate with plenty of great breads, jams, coffee etc. Lovely place.

Room Tip: First floor - room 102 was great!

The hotel is located not so far away from the city center - about 10-12 minutes to go by feet from the Central Railway Station and about 15 minutes from the center, where most of clubs and shops are located. Good breakfast, cosy and clean room, good stuff. It is pretty good for its price. We really enjoyed that the hotel is located in a quiet district and it is good even for staying with children.

Decent prices and great location for us. Easy access to the center of Copenhagen (10 min walk) and close to busses.
Bedroom for four was a double room with two beds added, so the space was very limited.
Bathroom has the spare minimum but it is clean.
Breakfast is simple but there is choice of bread, cereal, cheese, ham, eggs, and unfortunately little fresh fruits.
It seems like one person at a time, is running the entire hotel between reception and kitchen for breakfast.
I would stay there again.

We arrived late Saturday night and walked from the train station. The location is actually quite good since it is away from the hub-bub in a residential area. But Copenhagen likes to party late on weekends and if you need to open the windows, it can get a little noisy as people walk home. The room was not too small, but the bathroom was. The sink has to be the smallest in the world and there was no place to even put a toothbrush. The room furnishings are terribly spartan with a miniscule desk and hanging/storage space that is too limited. There is hardly any place to put anything and we travel light with just carry-on luggage. Lighting starts dim and doesn't get much better. The internet connection was pathetic...it worked best from a tiny corner of the bed. Very frustrating when one is trying to plan the next stop on a 3 month tour. The decor is nice enough but doesn't improve the level of comfort. We stayed 5 nights and I was so ready to leave this hotel by then. The housekeeping staff didn't remove our obviously dirty glassware and when we moved it to the hallway, it was still there 12 hours later. After that episode, I took the glasses down to reception myself the next time. The breakfast (included in our price) had a rather limited selection, but they did have the best bread ever! I hate to ding this place, but really...for a night or two it would be okay...for a longer stay, try something else. It was too frustrating.

Dear Concordia39,

We appreciate that you took the time and shared your feed back with us.

You are right, that some of the sinks in the hotel are small.
Our interior design is chosen to be a simple and Nordic style with an open wardrobe.

Concerning the glasses you left in the hall; as housekeeping service is from approximately 08.00-15.00, there will be several hours were the housekeeping girls are not at the hotel to gather these things.

We wish you a nice spring.

Kind regards
The Management at Hotel Sct Thomas.

We chose this hotel primarily for the price (Good hotel for a decent price). The rooms are small but very clean and practical, they have no restaurant but the breakfast was plentiful and included in our room price. When we arrived in Copenhagen by plane and took the train then to the center, from there the hotel was a twenty minute walk along the main road. Once we arrived at the hotel we found that bus 26 would of dropped us off right outside the door. From there on we used the bus 26 to go everywhere, from the Carlsberg Brewery and one end to the little Mermaid at the other! I think we only used one other bus the whole weekend.

P.S get the Copenhagen Card.

Room Tip: I think the double rooms are bigger than the twin rooms.

Dear CLJMG,

On behalf of our team members, thank you for taking the time to write and comment on your recent stay. We are happy to read that your overall experience was good.
The bus 26 is definately the best option to reach the Pedestrian area and other sightseeings just within a couple of minutes.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Hotel Sct Thomas!

Yours sincerely,

We attended a concert with Mads Langer at Vega and the hotel was perfectly located. We had a good night sleep after a perfect evening. The day after we walked into the citycentre, appr. 10 min walk. Great location and very good value for money.

I agree with the last few reviewers, by Copenhagen standards this little hotel is a good deal - because Copenhagen is shockingly expensive (unless you're from Norway).

It's a very neat and clean hotel that's made good use of the limited space they have with a sharp enough design. Don't expect any frills, breakfast is not worth mentioning (but there is a wonderful Dutch pastry brand right across the road, where you can sit in and get a great coffee and a fantastic Danish - so it's not a big deal).

Service is fine, the lady on reception was very friendly and hospitable and was very efficient about sorting out a booking mix-up made via booking.com.

Set in a quiet, residential area, both town centre and central station are within a very easy walk.
