I stayed with a friend at this hotel for 5 nights. The location was ideal just one block away from the main train station and fairly easy to navigate the rest of the city from. I felt it was a good price for the hotel. The hotel reception staff were fairly friendly and helpful though it was a bit of a pain having to navigate the stairs with our suitcases. The room was fine though I had trouble with the bed reigniting my back pain. My friend was fine however. The breakfast had a good selection of food. I would stay here again even though I found Denmark a very expensive place to go.

We headed to Copenhagen as the starting point for a NCL cruise of the Baltic area. We arrived at the airport at 2pm, took the train directly from the airport to the central station(inexpensive, and easy to manage), and walked 1 block from the central station to Hotel Saga, where we were checked in by 3PM. It was really that simple.

The location is 5 min from Tivoli and a great selection of restaurants, and is near convenient stores/cafe/bakeries to pick up treats for breakfast the next day.

The hotel was clean, and offered just what was needed for a 1night stay before leaving for the cruise. upon departure the next morning, we walked 2 blocks, hopped on the bus, and took the bus to the port, where a 15 min walk had us at the entrance to the cruise ship.

i would highly recommend this as a great place to use for that initial night before/after a cruise, as it is clean, convenient to transportation and restaurants/sites, and great on the budget.

The hotel in itself was nice and the room was quiet enough to sleep comfortably. It is also worth mentioning that breakfast was served with a very good variety of pastries, jams, bread, ham, and cheese, just to mention a few.
Placement near the central station should also be considered, but we stayed for too little a time span to discover how close the hotel is to other places of interest in Copenhagen.

Although not quite cheap, we have experienced the following shortcomings:
- There was no lift.
- We had the impression that cleanliness in our room was sometimes a bit overlooked. One evident thing was dust coming down from the air intake in the bathroom (we had a private one).
- Hot and cold water pipes were swapped, both in the sink and in the bath. It was not just a matter of colors: cold water came out from the red (left) side, and hot water came out from the blue (right) side. Not really a problem, but you had to get used to that.

All in all, a good and pretty comfortable hotel, but with some shortcomings due to its budget nature.

This is a budget hotel and this is reflected in price. Hotel is very close to central station and therefore close to all attractions but there is some noise (mainly from other guests). There is no lift but we got a clean room with small w/c & shower - you have to pay extra for this but worth it. The breakfast is traditional european (breads, hams cheese and coffee / tea) and it was fresh and plentiful. Provided you are only staying for a couple of nights and on a budget this is a good hotel to base yourself.

The hotel is in a super location, next to a supermarket and to the Central station.
All the tourist highlights can be reach on foot.
You can also rent a bike from there, because the famous city bikes from Copenhagen are very hard to find.
You can also wash your cloths there and the breakfast is really good :)

For the price we had to pay, we didn't find the basic quality we could expect, and we found the hotel not suitable for families. No lift (we were on 4th flour), no help to carry the luggage, a very cold welcome from the staff on first day, the soundproofing of the rooms very insufficient (both a noisy district of the city - actually, the red light district! - and the unintentional but yet very disturbing noise of the other guests). But the worst, one toilet and one shower to share between the many rooms of the floor. Much to expensive.

I spent 2 night with a kid there, this is neither the first nor the last time for me to go there with my family. Most of the guests are youngish couples or young families with kids, Danish as well as non-Danish.

pros: just 140 steps away from the Central Railway Station. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Luggage storage room.
cons: quite noisy (seems to have thin walls), no lift
