Description: Restaurant Bonjour Vietnam is located in beautiful settings just next to The New Theater, ‘Det Ny Teater’ in the Theater Arcade, ‘Teaterarkaden’ at Vesterbro, Copenhagen. The restaurant is run by Quynh Tran and her mother Loan Nguyen, who for more than 30 years has worked as a chef at restaurants through out Vietnam. Their mission is to bring parts of tradition and modernity from the Vietnamese cuisine to Danish restaurant visitors who appreciate a quality Asian cuisine, where everything is made from scratch, and at prices which everyone can participate in.Here You will certainly be able to enjoy the most superior dishes within the Vietnamese cuisine, which by many is considered to be the best and most sophisticated of the Asian cuisines.

To celebrate our friend's 50th birthday we invited a few of our friend's out for a dinner celebration. Entering Bonjour Vietnam, we were warmly greeted and seated by the window. First things to notice were the comfortable chairs, the deco and the most important, the fantastic aromas from the kitchen.
Being a restaurant with a full house, our waiters (english speaking) with "iPho" t.shirts, gave us ample time to go through the menu. Plenty to choose from, I decided for a Phở gà (109 Dkr). Full of fresh herbs and It was lovely! Two at the table ordered Tôm né (129 Dkr): Grilled tiger prawns on a hot skillet plate, topped with Vietnamese pickels and chopped dill. One of the waiter's came and showed them how it is done since they had to make their own spring rolls.
All in all, the food served was delicious but we all missed one thing: Fresh Ginger!
Dinning in Copenhagen is expensive, but Bonjour Vietnam proved that they serve fantastic food for a very affordable price.
We will certainly return when we visit Cph again.

The restaurant is one large room always packed with customers...a good sign.

The food tasted great, very fresh and there is lots of choice. They also have a separate vegetarian menu.

The service was attentive, friendly and warm.

Thank Ralcolm

In this busy and noisy restaurant I had a very nice noodle and beef salad with a lot of coriander, peanuts and lime. Jum, jum exactly what I needed! Also: Great vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Pretty ok price too.

We were a family of five people (me, my husband and three children: 6, 8, 11 years old) visiting Denmark in a nice sunny day. It was not easy to find a restaurant in Copenhagen, where offers vegetarian food. After been recommented by our hotel, we went to check reviews on internet and found out it could be a very good choice.
We made the reservation and took a walk there. It was not far from the centre Copenhagen station, about 8 minutes. There was two Vietnamese restaurants located very close together. We ended up stop in one restaurant, which we thought it was Bonjour Vietnam. But it wasn't. We found out when we got the menucard, which has name of the restaurant on.
We went out of the restaurant and actually Bonjour Vietnam was just few steps from this restaurant, but you need to walk a few step into the side road. Their address is Vesterbrogade 44 and another one is Vesterbrogade 42. Maybe easy for local people to find, but not that simple for us.
The vegetarian menu is not very big, but really very very good. We ordered two starters to share, and 4 main course. My children love the foods too. It was quite unusual, since they normally only eat the foods they know from our homeland.
We give them the best recommendation for their good foods, friendly service and a beautiful local.
