To celebrate our friend's 50th birthday we invited a few of our friend's out for a dinner celebration. Entering Bonjour Vietnam, we were warmly greeted and seated by the window. First things to notice were the comfortable chairs, the deco and the most important, the fantastic aromas from the kitchen.
Being a restaurant with a full house, our waiters (english speaking) with "iPho" t.shirts, gave us ample time to go through the menu. Plenty to choose from, I decided for a Phở gà (109 Dkr). Full of fresh herbs and It was lovely! Two at the table ordered Tôm né (129 Dkr): Grilled tiger prawns on a hot skillet plate, topped with Vietnamese pickels and chopped dill. One of the waiter's came and showed them how it is done since they had to make their own spring rolls.
All in all, the food served was delicious but we all missed one thing: Fresh Ginger!
Dinning in Copenhagen is expensive, but Bonjour Vietnam proved that they serve fantastic food for a very affordable price.
We will certainly return when we visit Cph again.
