- Fantastic location.
- Successful renovation.
- Love the fireplace in the lobby.
- Nice champagne bar.
- Wonderful room.
- Quick room service, but the menu should be as before the renovation. We really missed the scampi dish :-(
- Attentive staff.
- "Top of the Pops" spa.

Expensive but worth it:-)

This hotel is spectacular. Colours are watery and very elegant. Attention to detail is outstanding. The restaurant is gorgeous. You can just walk the halls and main rooms to see how special this is. I think it might be the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen

the hotel has just been renovated and is beautiful: the room are light and the decoration is quiet and chique. The receptiondesk and congierge are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located right in the middle of the city.
The bar is nice and cosy.
The bets of this place is the food: I love cooking, even got workshops from a 3-starchef, this was the best I ever got in a restaurant: very creative, amazing flavours.
The menu-card is abit complicated because you always have to share a maincourse with another person at your table.
The staff in the restaurant is not very experienced and sometimes very clumsy, mixing up orders etc. What a pity for the chef and his equippe: they rely on a good staff in the restaurant
Soon the chef will publish his cookbook: a must for people who love to cook: " the wizard cookbook" is the title! Get it : in Novelber it will be out!
His food is worth a detour and the hotel is the best place to stay in Copenhagen

Room Tip: a junior suite is beautiful

The Hotel D'Angleterre is one of the great European City Hotels. It's recent refurbishment has created that rare combination of a Grande Dame with beautiful and tasteful design accents and well-thought out technology. The hotel's rooms, as well as being comfortable and well designed, have some excellent and useful technological features ranging from the Wi-Fi which is available to guests throughout the hotel; cleverly designed lighting, especially in the bathrooms; and built in connections in the desk for most devices, amongst other features. All this however, would be nothing without the service. The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out and was delivered professionally and with a genuine smile - nothing was too much to ask and everything was delivered pleasantly with a minimum of fuss. A truly wonderful experience.

The newly renovated hotel provides Copenhagen with a world class luxury hotel, fully up to the standard (and price) you find at the best hotels in London and Paris. The rooms are tastefully appointed, and the tech savvy will appreciate the B&O television and the ultra fast wifi. The service provided by the reception staff and the doormen was impeccable, and the breakfast buffet choices as varied as anyone could possibly desire. We have reviewed the gourmet restaurant Marchal separately.
