Went on this 3 hour walking tour of Copenhagen which was actually a little bit of walking and mostly riding in a very nice bus. We had arrived on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship. Even though it was a Saturday so very little cars, the tour bus traffic was very heavy so the tour spent at least half an hour either trying to park or trying to get out of the parking lot. We drove by The Town Hall Square, Tivoli Gardens, New Carlsberg Glyptoteque, National Museum, Christiansborg Castle, Stock Exchange Borsen, Amalienborg Palace, and Amaliehaven. We stopped for photos and a short discussion at the Little Mermaid and the Amalienborg Palace. The tour was nice and the bus driver was great. The tour guide was a retired teacher about 70ish and was very practical and witty and a real joy besides being a bundle of knowledge. I would suggest using a microphone for the tour guide with headphones for the participants because once we were off the bus it was impossible to hear her. All in all a fine introduction to Copenhagen.
