I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. Booking the hotel blind and its location near to the train station meant that my hopes weren't high.
What a lovely surprise! The reception had a lot of old world charm , and I expected to see Hercule Poirot appear! The staff were friendly and efficient,the room was gorgeous and spacious. the Library bar was classically charming, and the jazz singing a perfect bonus. Breakfast was comprehensive and tasty.More

Prime location beside Central Station & Tivoli Gardens.
Hotel is in an old beautiful historical building. Nice surprise after a modern hotel. Fabulous entrance & library bar retain the quaintness & old worldly charm where they serve lovely cocktails. Live jazz music Fri & Sat nights.
Rooms are very comfortable & have the same old fashioned charm. Tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar & safe. Eye mask & ear plugs provided. Our room overlooked railway lines but the noise was muted with the double set of windows. Shower gel, shampoo, seperate conditioner & body lotion provided in bathroom along with shower cap & vanity set. Sewing kit & shoehorn also available. Great choice to be had with breakfast - muesli, yoghurts, ham, cheeses, bacon, egg, sausages, crepes, fresh fruit, breads & pastries. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

I will nor recommend the hotel, it was difficult to communicate with the staff, all areas looked old and not clean, the overall condition was poor in spite of the nice exterior, and this was a bad surprise. Pity as the location was perfect but the hotel cannot be conisdered a 4 stars one

Great city to visit. The architecture is amazing. Easy to walk around and the food is terrific. Started tour in Copenhagen and went to Sweden and Norway with tour group returning to Copenhagen in 7 days.

Perfect location. There is over all charm in this Place, a bit worn out, but ok. The bar is must experience! The balcony on the 5th floor is not exactly a balcony, but can be used for out door escape :)

Great location, oppostite railway station, very easy on your daily walk, tourist information closeby. Breakfast is adequate. Room cleaning is a bit slow but adequate. Needs a luggage/suitcase stand, instead of putting suitcase on the floor.
