Old hotel but very good location, just in front of the train station and bus stop. The room is not sound proof at all hence quite noisy.
Check-in and check-out was quite fast. The cleanliness of the room need to be improved.
No complimentary bottled water is provided even we stayed for four nights

The hotel needs major renovation, from the carpets to the lighting to the fixtures in the bathrooms; even the elevator! The only thing going on for the hotel is the location, which is absolutely fantastic, followed by the staff, who are very courteous and helpful. But given the price they charge (even for Scandinavian standards), the place needs a massive upgrade.

We stayed at Copenhagen Plaza Hotel in February this year for a short break. The location was great as you were right next to the Tivoli Gardens.
Checkin was fine, and family room was ok, but the shower was luke warm and quite slow and the bathtub had no bath plug.
Breakfast was ok, quite hard to get a table, and became busy quickly. If you like old history hotels, this is the one for you. Overall, a nice hotel and is in a great location. Would stay again.

Me and my partner don’t usually stay at fancy hotels when we travel, but this time we wanted to really treat ourselves so we booked two nights at plaza hotel Copenhagen ! Got really disappointed though, the room had quite a sloppy feeling. Bad air, kinda “old” smell in it? Guess the carpeted floor had something to do with that...
the bathroom, shower was moldy and didn’t closed which caused a lot of water on the floor.
BUT the biggest disappointment was that it didn’t have a doublebed, instead there where to single beds put together to make it look like a double. There was this huge gap between them so we had to sleep on each side, and we are cuddly sleepers :(

On the bright side, the breakfast was great and the interior in the lounge and bar is stunning, really cozy. But overall the hotel did NOT live up to the 4 stars!!!!!!!

The Plaza has a great location, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The foyer of the hotel is beautiful. The library bar is really impressive and has live music on certain nights. The rooms are sufficiently appointed (they even come with weights for the over achievers!) and the shower pressure is great with warm to hot water. I was concerned when I saw ear plugs beside the bed.....If you’re sensitive, don’t open the windows. I personally loved the happy sounds coming from the Tivoli Gardens! Lastly....I loved the view from our 6th floor room!
