Copenhagen City Break

Great location across from the train station, comfortable spacious room with balcony although next to the train station didn't disturb us during the night overall was perfect for what we wanted and would recommend to anyone travelling to Copenhagen for the first time.

Traditional English style hotel

Traditional English style hotel with a bar looking like an old library. Clean rooms, the bathroom could do with some maintenance but ok equipped. The water taps are old style as well. Fast WiFi in the rooms. Breakfast buffet is good, plenty of choice on both healthy and the traditional egg stuff. Well located next to Copenhagen central station and opposite of Tivoli.

Great Location - perhaps it depends on which room you get.

Our room was large, and had a sofa bed and generous double bed. The ensuite bathroom was also well proportioned, but that's about where the praise ends. The decor is really tired - we had room 412 - there was no lock on the bathroom door; the sofa bed was, frankly, knackered - not so much of a problem when it's small children sleeping in it, but an adult would struggle. FYI - in room 412 there is both sound and vibration from the adjacent train station so be advised - they leave a sleeping pack for your benefit so use the earplugs!
It just felt as if this was once a fabulous hotel, but it is now in dire need of refurbishment - as I mentioned in my review to the hotel they are sweating their assets.

Nice place out of time

The hotel is GOOD PLACED because is near to the train station and is easy to go in downtown.
You have to like the HOLD STYLE, because this hotel is like victorian time.
I really appreciate the personal gym in the room.
The staff is kind and discreet.
The only negative note: the toilet need a restoration.

Lovely hotel but room could do with TLC

We stayed as a family of four in February this year.
The hotel is located right beside central station which is useful when getting train to/from airport. Tivoli gardens are straight across the street.
The room itself was quite spacious for the 4 of us. We had to quickly remove the dumbbells from the wall so our 3 year wouldn't get them.
The bathroom had obviously seen better days with chipped woodwork and old facilities. The room was clean but could do with a refresh.
Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of choice.
It is a lovely old building and our children loved the glass lift.
